<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post"> MIAMI ? As the rest of his teammates are finding their legs, Dwyane Wade is wondering where his went.

That's presented Heat coach Pat Riley with a concern.

While Riley played Wade for 24 minutes in Tuesday's 109-105 exhibition victory over the Hornets at AmericanAirlines Arena, he said he will hold Wade out of Friday's exhibition in Memphis, the guard's second excused absence of the preseason.

Wade said after a whirlwind offseason that included six weeks with the U.S. national team that his legs feel like he's already 60 games into the season. He hardly looked that way Tuesday in scoring 19 points on 7-of-13 shooting, with five rebounds and five assists.

"I think it's more mental than anything else, so that's a concern," said Riley, who also plans to hold Wade out of practice today and Thursday, limiting the fourth-year guard to conditioning work. "I'm concerned about it. I've talked to him about it. But he's got to find a way to replenish himself."</div>

This doesn`t sound good. Wade really has had a crazy 2006 so far. The whole rest of the 05/06 season, the playoffs, championship, quick training for the US team, training for the upcoming season. Maybe he just needs some rest?

hopefully he'll be back to 100% shape by the start of the season. if not, we might get a bad start, no j-wil, old shaq, AND no d-wade. not a good combination. lets just hope that he only needs some rest and that rileys making the right move by doing so.

Another article also mentioned Antoine Walker is a long ways from being in shape. At least the Heat can coast through the regular season, because the East isn't nearly as competitive as the West. Miami just needs to hit it's stride with about 1 1/2 months left in the regular season and peak during the playoffs like last year.

very true. they should make the playoffs relatively easily and not face to many obstacles. as long as everyone gets healthy and stays healthy we'll be solid. our weaker guys from last year are stepping it up this preseason, and our rookies should be a BIT of help, but very small. so, hopefully everyone gets healthy.
