See the Rest of the Rankings Those seem pretty realistic standings for the Western Conference. I have a feeling the Clippers are going to be disappointing this season. Their success is going to live and die on Sam Cassell staying healthy, and I don't see him being as productive this year. I also don't think Livingston is ready to fill in for Cassell on the leadership front. He still struggles in halfcourt sets and doesn't have the experience to manage a game. I'm hoping the Lakers can stay healthy and make a push for 2nd in the Pacific and aim for a 5th or 6th seed. I'd like to match up with whoever comes out of the Northwest Division in Round 1.

it seems very possible the Lakers can snatch the 5th seed if the Rockets and Clippers disappoint. Utah vs. LA in first round? I'll take it.

The Lakers position seems realistic, but some of those picks are kinda funky. I think the Celtics will have a better season than the raptors and the knicks. And their conferance finals picks seem like who they want to win versus who they think will win.
they have pacers at sixth seed in the east? I think nuggets will be better than kings this year, but Lakers are taking 5 or 6, no lower, no higher.
