Jesus Jones, it's always something with these young players. Why can't they just mind their own like players used to? Sheesh. Not that I'm really complaining, it gives me something to read about when I'm bored.
Ah, dangerous situation. But thank God Bassy is okay-- I hope the whole thing gets handled ASAP, we don't need Telfair and the team to have this thing hanging over his/their heads like the event with Tony Allen, which still has yet to be settled after like two years. Hope the victim of the shooting is okay too.

The police said that they were investigating any connection between Bassey having a chain stolen and Fabolous getting shot. The blood-thirsty press immediately played this up to sound like they were investigating Bassey's role in the shooting. The police merely stated that he made a cell phone call after seeing the two men who took his chain in the club. Those are hardly what I would call evidentiary events, but as usual, BSPN is all over the worst possible angle.

Who does he think he is, the Queen of England?</div> I don't know if you know this, but sports players wear jewelry an awful lot more expensive than that, just about all the time. How about when Manny had $50,000 earrings stolen from his car? Or Melvin Ely, Melvin Ely of all people, had thirty thousand dollars worth of jewelry stolen. All kinds of athletes wear and awful lot more than that, because they are all vain and status-oriented. If you got it, flaunt it, we all know that.
