Linehan is off to St Louis. I am really not too disappointed. The offense was floundering (pun intended) until Nick put his foot down.

The lambs continue to emphasize offense - what a shock! They will not get any better until they improve defense & special teams or find a calendar that is perpetually stuck on 1999.

Mularkey (former Bills coach) is interviewing for Linehan's position. I like this move. It appears MM was not the best head coach but if memory serves was quite good as the Steelers OC. Best of all, Mularkey calls a balanced game (unlike Martz) & rarely calls silly plays (Linehan).

Furthermore, <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Mularkey, a native of Fort Lauderdale who attended the University of Florida, still has family in the area.</div>

During the season, there were a lot of time when I thought the Dolphins did themselves a dis-service by throwing the ball down the field....I wasnt all that happy with the attack about half the time....I thought that 2 of the offenses 3 best players were 220 and 230lb RBs and that they should have pounded it out more....I do want Mularky who was a very coveted O-Co when he left the Steelers....he will run the ball to set up the pass, the opposite of Linehan....give me a top 10 defense and a top 10 running game and you will win a lot of games....

    I agree.

Mularkey IMO is a happy medium between Martz/Linehan on one end and Vanilla Dave on the other
