This is the game notes for tonights Preseason game against the Clippers. It also has the break down of all the players and all of the Preseason. Its pretty cool you should check it out. <div class='codetop'>CODE</div><div class='codemain'>http://www.nba.com/lakers/news/notes.pdf</div>
Devin Green is going to get a lot of minutes tonight with all the injuries. He better make the most of this opportunity. Game has been back and forth so far 15-15 with 5 minutes left in the game.
Damn Turiaf has two early fouls, we might see Odom at Center by the time this game is over with. Sasha continues his hot shooting, Lakers up by 4. 7-0 Laker run, Lakers up by 6 now!
GAME IS ON TNT! It's frustrating watching Smush sometimes (particularly on defense), I see him losing the starting job to Farmar within the year if Smush's inconsistence persists. Sasha is starting to come into his own as a player, this should be his best year.
Walton just botched a layup on a nice pass by Farmar but got to the line and made 1 of 2. And now Farmar with the nice assist on the break to Evans. And now, a technical on Mobley in the process. Lead now down to 76-73.
And now Luke with the nice steal and assist to Farmar for the layup on the break. Lead down to 76-75.
7 straight by the Clippers before Bynum flushes it down after a nice pump fake to get space. 83-77 Clippers now.
Tie game after Walton gets a layup. Now 86-84 after a pair of FTs by the Clipps And now a beautiful layup by Farmar on a Walton assist I believe. Tie game again.
Farmar splits one of two at the line to tie the game. Clipps take a one point lead after a layup at the other end. Farmar sinks a technical to tie the game back up.
Lakers down 1 with 18.7 to go. Odom had a chance to give em the lead but was rejected with some authority by TT. Lakers ball and there's a timeout, hopefully we get something figured out for this last play.
Lakers lose, 91-90. Farmar held on to it way too long and ended up getting stripped. Mo Evans might have got a shot off but it didn't go in anyways. Only real mistake by Farmar the entire quarter and it costs us the game.
errr. so did we take this game? haha.. all this commentary got me excited. I just got home from work!
I thought we played a pretty good fourth quarter for the most part. Farmar looked great all quarter until that final play, and he just held it too long. By the time he decided to go up, it was make or break. If he didn't make the shot, we weren't going to win cause he didn't really give us enough time to get up another shot. Then he got stripped and it was pretty much over after that. Other than that, I really liked the way he played. He and Walton looked great on the court together. Each of them came up with a steal that lead to transition points. Their defense was solid. Farmar hit a couple of crazy nice layups, including one assisted with a beautiful pass from Walton. I'm really hoping that they get on the court together a lot during the season, cause they looked really good during their time on the court from what I saw. Also liked Bynum tonight. I think he had 15pts, but was limited to only 4 boards.
Please for the love of God phil, please! start Farmar. Cut Green and Pinnock. Is it just me or is Pinnock jealous of Farmar. He passed the ball once to Farmar and that was when everyone was defended well.
