Davis is averaging 27.0 points, 8.7 assists and 5.7 rebounds while shooting 54.9 % (28-51) from the field and an encouraging 90.9% (20-22) from the charity stripe.

This is what I expected out of him when he came here. I dont think Jrich should be the leading scorer on this team BD should. He is the only proven all star on this team. BD is all NBA first/second team material, Jrich is borderline All star material. I think as long as he keeps his teammates involved by averaging close to 10 assists per game, we should win and play well as a team...

It's nice, but it's pre-season and Baron's injury prone (though, hopefully he will be healthy this season if he loses some pudge). I'd still like to see J-Rich be the leading scorer.

The bottom line is...wait, there is not bottom line, I snorted it.

The point is, this year's Warriors will probably see a lot of different high scorers in every game thanks to Nellie's system.

J-Rich isn't borderline All-Star, he is an All-Star caliber player...he should have been one last year. But, the good thing is, being snubbed from the All-Star roster motivates him even more to gain respect, something he wants, for himself and the team, according to an interview.

    Yes, I know pre season...

He also missed 3 out of 6 games. If he kept that up in the regular season he would only play 41 games...

Jrich will not be All Star calliber until he is actually voted onto the all star team. Yes, he is a very good player, does he deserve to be on the team? Maybe? But are you going to put him on there over other guards like Kobe? Nash? McGrady etc? No, therefore he is not All Star calliber yet. Now, Davis has been an All star and if he plays better than he did last year, even not as good as preseason and the Warriors are winning half their games, he will be on the team. If he averages close to the same numbers as he did in the preseason, stays relatively healthy and the Warriors are winning over half their games, he will be considered for MVP, not Jrich...

Box score is out for today's game. Interesting stats for basically Warriors sub vs Seattle subs. Diogu with a monster game, 25/8/8. OK, nevermind the fact that one 8 is TO, but 13-17 line indicates that he was dominatning the post. Will he do that in regular season against regulars? Time will tell. Biedrins also had very nice game 6 pts/ 10 rebounds and 3 blocks in just 21 mins. I wonder why he only played 21 mins. POB got 28 mins, and he also played decent, not to mention 3 assists for center. It's too bad Robertson got injured in last preseason game. It would be really really bad for him, if that injury is half way serious...

With Roberson in I'm sure he would have hit some big shots late in the game, his FG% this preseason as a shooter is fantastic.

I probably beat this to death, but it's all about inside outside presence and making defenses collapse on your biggest threats. If there is a guy like Baron or Diogu dominating certain areas of the floor, it's going to create openings for other players. I'm hoping one day we can create in a variety of ways: Isolations, off-ball movement at a slow or fast pace. If we control the tempo and have a variety of ways to defeat an opponent, we will start winning more games than we lose. We've never had that formula in our 12 consecutive losing seasons. Defense also helps, because it will keep us in a game where scoring on our end is difficult. Production on both ends is a must for any successful franchise, unless scoring or defense is dominant.
