obviously thats not good news for the hawks, but it is for me. being a duke fan, i cant help but be happy to be able to see a duke player probably start over a unc player. *hope that he gets better soon though*
That really sucks. I'm expecting him to really improve this season, but this definitely isn't what he needs just before the season starts.
Not what he needed to happen with less than a week before the season starts. I was figuring him to play a really large part in the offense early and often. However, this is definitely going to be a setback, and it will allow to give Hawks fans a good chance to see what their first rounder this year in Shelden Williams has to offer.
Is Shelden Williams going to start in his place? He's had a disappointing preseason and I think the Hawks will go with Chills in the starting lineup with Josh Smith at PF, or Lo Wright will start.
This sucks for the Hawks, Marvin was really making strides, he showed great ability to get to the basket and draw fouls. This open up more minutes for Shelden to show himself, and also for Childress though.
