http://news.bostonherald.com/blogs/celtics/ That's the final cut. GLad to see Allan Ray make the team.
This is really no surprise to me at all. I know Jackson looked good coming out of college, but he hasn't proven anything at an NBA level. And it looks as if the Celts were just awaiting some sort of a trade that they could have packages him up in. As far as Grant goes, pretty much had no idea he was even on the roster. It was good to see Allan Ray make the team, he looks like a great shooter. But I was also very happy to see them keep Leon Powe!
Yeah, me too....but I wasn't worried about him getting cut. We are pretty light on rebounders, so they would have been crazy to let him go.
Well it seemed in the beginning he was on the hot seat, but when he began to get some preseason minutes, he was sort of a lock.
Yeah, he made the most of his minutes, and there's no better reason for giving a youngster a shot. As for Grant, good riddance, and for Luke, doubly so. He's just not an NBA player, and he never has been. With any luck, he'll get healthy and be what he was in college. However, at this point, the odds are long. Allan Ray is a fine shooter, but how much do we need one of those right now? I wouldn't mind seeing him get some minutes in the D-League though, that wouldn't bother me one bit.
No... shooters are not needed at the moment so it would be a good idea to let him develop in the d-league.
Noooooooo, why did they have to cut Brian Grant. He played very hard for us. I hate Cs management for this.

I`m glad to see Allan Ray make it. I wonder what Jackson`s future will look like...

If he keeps playing like he's hurt or afraid to become so in workouts, he'll never be anything in the league again. If he can play like he wants to rebound and earn a spot on a squad, he'll be worth watching. Either way, he'll never shine so brightly as he did in college, and chances are good he'll end up in Europe at this rate.
