He's O.K. if only he would talk off the tinfoil hat on his head, and stop thinking the government has been taken over by aliens, he'd be really good. He's also really out of shape, his breath control is really annoying.

Anyway, dance with the devil is pretty good, as disturbing as the lyrics are. So is the point of no return imo.

His songs are very geo-political. I'm not quite sure who or what he's mad at lol. I've been hearing about him for the past few years, though I've never really listened to his tracks until 2 weeks ago or so.

In my World Issues class we have to find a song related to a geo-politcal event or just geo-political in general and make a presentation out of it. Three people have done an Immortal Technique track, and you can easily conclude that he's a very deep thinker with strong views.

I'd advise against checking him out, he's very boring to listen to, all his songs are about how George Bush is screwing us over. I bought 'Revolutionary Volume #2', and was only able to listen to it twice.

    He's very overated.

^^^i agree somewhat...I actually enjoyed Vol. 2 and I actually think Tech is talented, but he's gained too many fanboys over the years.....Vol. 1 wasn't that great, but Vol. 2 is worth checking out (I enjoyed a good number of songs off that album)

Dance with the Devil, although very disturbing, is one of the best imagery songs I've ever heard. Great, great song.

I used to be a big fan, but not much anymore. Like rafy said, he's very big on conspiracys and his breath control is one of the worst I've heard.

To say Immortal Technique is over-rated is kind of mind boggling. He is the most poltically and socially conscience rapper I have ever heard. If you think all of his songs are about Bush, then you obviously haven't heard all of his tracks. Lyrically, he might be one of the best MCs in a long time. I've never noticed a breath control problem, except maybe on a couple of his freestyles... but he kills the competition anyway. And not only does he portray a message in his songs, unlike most rap nowadays, he actually speaks from experience. He's no poser, that's for sure. Not only is he trying to make a difference with his music, but he is traveling all over the world all the time spreading his thoughts and ideas with speeches and workshops. His best album is easily Rev Vol 2, one of the greatest underground hip hop albums released in the past decade. His next album, Middle Passage, which was supposed to be out this year, is taking on a new theme. If you can't stand the straight forwardness of his lyrics, or his views on certain topics, whether you agree with him or not, and thought provoking lyrics, then maybe you should look elsewhere. I recommend 50 cent and Chingy.
