How To Be A Player WAS corny...lol...the only thing that made it watchable was the women.... The Whore - yes that's the name of it....it's a movie about a day in the life of a prostitute....I actually thought it was pretty interesting.
Battle Royale 9/10 It's some Japanese film. There's not much of a story, but the action gets you hooked right from the beginning.
Dusk Till Dawn - 8/10 I was stoned out of my face watching this movie and I was tripping out. At first I was watching the beginning and thought it would be a great action/thriller movie with a good storyline, then it turned into a vampire movie at mid-way.
Crash: 8.2/10 Anyone else get annoyed at how "preachy" this movie is? Bugged the crap outta me the whole way through.

Everyone from critics to everyday people deemed it as a ?must see film,? that ?would open up the eyes of American people about racism.? Since I consider myself a pretty ?socially aware? individual, I decided to check it out. I do admit that I enjoyed the movie, but after watching it I was somewhat disappointed. I wasn?t disappointed at the movie itself, but more of the way that the public reacted to it. What did this movie really bring out to the light that most of us with common sense already knew? Was it shocking to see a cop pull over a black man and his wife and harass them? Was it shocking to see politicians using various methods of trickery to influence the public?s opinions? Was it a shock to see the ignorance of people?s knowledge on certain people?s cultures and racial backgrounds? No, it shouldn?t be shocking, but for some strange reason it was a ?shock? to most movie goers that watched this film. Although it was a good film, I seriously doubt that a 2 hour movie can change the opinions and views of those who found this movie ?shocking.? The only thing shocking is that we still live in a country of prejudice people who have no clue of what really goes on. If it takes a movie for people to get the point then that just tells me that things haven?t changed much in America. The reaction the public had to this film, sort of reminds me of everyone?s reaction after Hurricane Katrina. I?ll never forget the news stations headlines of ?Is this a matter of race?? It was almost like they were laughing in my face, when deep down anyone with an ounce of intelligence knew that race and poverty had a lot to do with the situation in New Orleans. This trend of ?not knowing,? is starting to become a popular (and rather annoying) fad in American society. American culture is a whole lot of talk with no action behind our words. We talk about the racism through films and television programs, but rarely do we act on fixing these problems. After Katrina destroyed New Orleans, everyone was quick to help in a time of need, but I knew that that help would only last for so long. Fast forward a year later and my predictions were correct. We live in a society where people get caught up in the moment, but we never seem to learn the lessons from that moment, and the same problems happen over and over again. So although I enjoyed the movie ?Crash,? I don?t view it as anything that will change peoples views on certain groups of people, it?s just another ?moment? that American people are fixated on. Until we make changes to our entire social system (from the education to the judicial) ignorance will still rear its ugly head in American society. </div> It was a mini-rant, but you get the point

After the movie was over, I was like "so the message of this movie is all people are racist in their own ways? - wow, shocker" That's cool that you study psychology. I also am interested in it though I don't study it formally. You can learn actually quite a bit about psychology from a message board such as this.
Smokin Aces - 9/10 This was a damn good movie. Great storyline, and good acting. Alisha Keys is SMOKIN in this movie.
I was thinking about watching it, does the storyline ramble on where there's a stunning revelation in the end? If so, no thanks. I gotta agree though,Alicia Keys is......damn.
