1/10
A phoned-in piece of trash. There were very few redeeming qualities to this film. Honestly, I had already seen the few funny parts in the commercial and I didn't have to worry about watching them in their proper context, because the plot was terrible. I felt like I was being robbed of 10 bucks over an agonizingly long 2 1/2 hours.
8.5/10
The visuals alone made this a worthwhile watch. The graphics were incredible (kind of like "A Scanner Darkly" meets "Sin City") and kept me interested even during the slower parts of the movie. It also had a nice little sci-fi futuristic plot. Voice acting was a bit sub-par though.
10/10
I can watch this one all day and its definitely one of the funniest films I've ever seen. The directors and those two lead actors (were all in Hot Fuzz too) are hilarious together.
7/10 The visuals were amazing, but I was a little disappointed in the movie. The Spartans were known for their armor and weaponry. The movie showed a bunch of Spartans fighting without any shirts on and only spears.

I watched this documentary on history channel one on this story. And they said the main weapons were spears that they used in bunched formations, and small swords. Both that were used in the movie. But either way this wasn't supposed to be a historical film, it was based off of a comic book.

wtf/10 Although I was a little bit stoned / hungover while watching it, so the "I have no idea whats going on" factor was probably increased a little, lol.

5/10 pretty mediocre. All though it had really funny parts, acting was bad. Main guy is a JAck Black 2.0 I wouldve hated it if Christopher Walken and Terry Crews weren't in it. Oh also if your a Reno911 fan you'll notice acting apperances from the show. that made me smile. i guess. lol
^ 4/10 I thought it was terrible. It was such a bad rip-off of Dodgeball. It definitely had its moments (the blind Chinese dude, Terry Crews, the German guy) and Maggie Q was hot, but I was bored through most of it. Plus, George Lopez annoys the hell out of me.

LOL NTC.
Actually it was funny, we all sat down to watch the movie, and I had never heard of it before, and had no idea it was a Spanish film. I was using the remote, and once the subtitles started to kick in, I went to the 'Subtitles' option on the remote and turned them off, lol. Since in alot of movies the subtitles option starts automatically, whether its an English film or not. My friends were like "wtf are you doing?"
Re:
QUOTE (Mamba)

8/10I was impressed. Some of it was corny, but for the most part, it was a great slasher film.

Thanks for the review, saw it this last night and it was a very great slasher film. Reminded me of the old school horror flicks. How many people died in this movie, at least 25.
8.5/10

9/10 for the film.
10/10 because a kid said "Ah man" and started getting up at the "To be continued" thing.

^ Haha. That's classic.

6.5/10
The first half of this movie was excellent. I loved how Zombie expanded upon the intro scene, showing Myers' early predisposition to violence and his brutal surroundings. The kid playing him was absolutely creepy and it just seemed to build up the atmosphere, culminating in disturbing scene (when he kills the bully while "Love Hurts" plays in the background.... crazy). And I absolutley loved the scenes when he was institutionalized. It just showed his descent into madness and gave a fairly decent explanation for the anger that consumed him. The part where he killed the Mexican janitor who had befriended him all those years was just an awesome way to signal that change (loved that scene).
The problem is the movie turned to absolute crap after that part. Its almost like the director gave up on making the movie his own and just remade the original scene by scene. Very little of it made sense and it just seemed to try and shock the audience as much as possible (the problem is that there was no suspense, since he just killed everyone in sight, and you knew it was going to happen). The whole plot seemed to revolve around him trying to find his sister again, and that really made every other killing nonsensical. I mean, he could have easily kidnapped Laurie from the beginning, so what was the point of going in the opposite direction to kill totally random characters (the black dude, the parents, the friends who were getting it on, etc.)? It just seemed like he had to kill them because they died in the first one and to kill time until the last confrontation.

10/10
Such an excellent film. The acting was great (especially the lead role), the storyline was deep and captivating, and I just seemed to connect with the underlying message that the main character was espousing. The ending was so poetic.

kickass/10

Last movie I saw was Stardust, it was much better than I expected. Clarie Danes is a very charismatic lady. I give it a 9 of 10.
