Since the bulls and Hinrich dont seem to be getting close to a deal, Hinrich will be a free agent next year but Bulls can match any offer, I love Smush Parker but he's a backup not a starter if the Lakers can get Hinrich they would be a top contender for the west Imagine Kobe Hinrich Kwame Radmonovich Lamar The Question is where are the Lakers gonna get the money Peace Aim: egyptianlaker32 (Stupid Brian Grant)
Tex Winters is a big Kirk Hinrich fan, but it's going to be next to impossible to pry him away from the Bulls. I agree though, he'd be the ideal PG for the Lakers, he has a high basketball IQ, good height, and can shoot from the perimeter at a high %.
By the end of the season the lakers will have Grant's contract off the books. They would have a lot of salary cap to sing free agents.

The remainder of salary cap available will likely be used to re-sign Luke and Cook.
yup maybe the Lakers can try to trade before the 2007 offseason because a lot of teams are going to try to offer hinrich a lot of money and the bulls might not be able to match it after signing ben wallace and signing deng a new contracts if they get rid of Hinrich by trading him they will get something valuable But which players do Lakers trade to match salary and lure the eyes of Bulls Mangement. Dont tell me Lamar or Kobe Please

Hinrich would most likely GO to Milwaukee and not the Lakers. There's no way they can get him at all.

lol...and the Infamous 2007 Plans keep going nowhere. Amare: signed. Yao: Signed Hinrich: Signed Seems like they really had no plan all along, especially considering we blew all our money on Kwame and Radman. Well anyway, I don't mind, I think this team will do solid...just a c peice or two away from being legit contenders.
