Usually not my style, but lately this style of music has been all I can play.

And as crude as what I'm about to say may sounds, the music has traditionally only been played by myself when using or making love, but lately I've noticed it's great ambiance music for posting on JBB as well.

The great thing about this genre is that I don't think it's as racially divided as rock is or rap is. It's just very sexy music that's generally appealing to all races, so a lot of people in a diverse community like JBB could get into them.

Some examples would be the groups Air and Zero 7.

I strongly suggest checking out some of the following sample links of their work. Who knows, you might come to like it for internet browsing as well. [IMG]

    Wolfmother? Awesome? Oy vey.

As for Air and Zero 7, good stuff. I've been into them for a while now. Massive Attack is where it's at though. Easily the best.

Just checked out the videos, and you were right. Good music to get groovy to lol. As for listening to it when surfing the web, I'd wait for it to grow on me. I'm not normally used to songs without lyrics, and Air's songs had me waiting for them to sing something lol. They did, but it took a while of instrumentals.

Awesome... thanks for checking them out... and you're right, it's an acquired taste.

What'd you think of "Playground Love" btw? That song, in context of the movie, haunted me for a while.

I have a problem of having too many 'acquired tastes,' and I'm sure Sasha can kind of sympathize with that. It makes you seem like your taste in music sucks when you recommend songs though, lol.

That video was freaky. Dark-sounding song and that whole talking piece of gum thing. Still, I like the sound of it.

Any albums in particular I should look at?

I don't really like the gum thing, but I probably like the video in general more because I've seen The Virgin Suicides probably. Air did the entire soundtrack to that movie.

I haven't even bothered to watch the other videos to be honest, because I have such a great mental images of the songs on my own and don't want them ruined by a music video director's take on them. I just posted them for their musical content really.

As for albums, do you buy them? I don't unless I'm really loyal to a band. Or are you talking about just d/l'ing the whole album? If that's the case, check out Walkie Talkie; great album, although it really sounds ten times better when you're getting high because of how dreamy it is.

</div>I was just gonna download it. I hardly buy albums anymore, I've bought just 3 this year.

And yeah, I was listening to their songs and I could totally see your point about listening to it high. It's got such a dreamy feel to it.

EDIT: Man, I just put down "dreamy" then noticed you described it the same way, with the same word.
