Set your rosters this week in advance and check on them every day or every other day. ! Can't believe Walker got Marcus Williams before I did. I'm starting not to feel so good about my Sam Cassell pick. And happy Halloween too! I'm going as Adonal Foyle's hands. Wooooo! Come near me and I'll drop you!

Hey guys, good luck to you, I'm on a Yahoo league myself, sorry I didn't hook up with the JBB league. I also have Diaw tonight, and Nash, mwahahaha. Unfortunately, the team I'm up against this week has Amare so hopefully it'll be all about Nash and Diaw. Hey, do you guys know who is starting for Murphy, and how long he's supposed to be out for? I do have Andris I could put in as a utility.

Hey Run BJM, I'm curious. Did you sit Zo down for some reason or did you forget to set the starting lineup roster today?
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">That Kobe-Yao trade is already looking great</div> Haha, not at the end of the season though.
Yeah I love lottery bound players because they know they ain't trying to save anybody up for the playoffs. Which reminds me... I got Duncan. BTW is Rudeezy here? I want full attention paid to your rosters! Also Gohn, hold off on the trade idea. I want to explore it later. I have a feeling that Isiah will try different lineups with all his guards, but Marbury will still be the all-star. Marbury, JR smith, Sam Cassell are on the block.
<div class="quote_poster">custodianrules2 Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Hey Run BJM, I'm curious. Kick ass! Nothing like going into a 9-2 start for the season opening week. My strategy of benching Watson and Wells paid off as that allowed me to beat BankShot by 1 TO! Bwahaha. Championship here I come!
There's +'s and -'s with that trade. I would keep Terry and Melo and not go for Odom unless I'm getting an additional player. Mainly +'s with Odom are less turnovers than Terry + Melo combined, more blocks, more consistent figures on assists, slightly better rebounding. -'s are less scoring, the fact that Lamar Odom is more injury prone than Melo and Terry so you may only get 60 or 70 games out of odom compared to the 80 you could get out of both melo and terry. You also lose the advantage of playing two separate players more times during a week combined than Lamar Odom can play by himself during a week. Also Lamar Odom's free throw shooting kind of stinks. Melo + Terry shoot decently from the line and can get to the line multiple times as they are decent inside outside threats. So that will balance out free throw shooting if you have some bad free throw shooters already on your roster. Just do a stat comparrison on yahoo or do a weekly projection where your guys play maybe two or three games a week. Also factor in home and away and back to back game consistency. Example: Three years ago Richardson was super predictable on second night of back to back games. 22 points the first game, 4 the next. It's all about playing probabilities and just getting consistent category to category production. If Terry/Melo consistency is ticking you off, maybe Odom isn't that bad, but he may be just really hot right now. He's been bad for stretches like any other player. If that trade is catching your eye you should get a scorer like Wally Sczerbiak or Adam Morrison because Melo and Terry can go wild with scoring. If they put up 24 or 18 points each night that's a lot more than Odom most nights when he defers to Kobe. So the Odom trade should involve somebody to make up for what Terry and Melo can do combined.
I'd keep Terry + Carmelo as well. Carmelo will go for another career year. and Odom's stock is particularly high right now because Kobe hasn't been much of a factor yet. I agree that there should be an additional player involved, if not, reject and wait and see how things pan out with Odom first.
hmm ive been thinking about it, and how bout instead of terry, have jameer nelson instead? hesdoing pretty good against the warriors right now :-D thanks guys!
