Main reason why he came back last year. His daughter said he should go back. From what Chris Havel said who is a friend of Favre and a writer for the Green Bay Press Gazette. His family would like to have him around more. So if he does come back it'll be next year and that's it. I think we need to move on without him. This team isn't going to go to the Super Bowl next year. I highly doubt we make the playoff or even finish with a winning record. Do you all really see Thompson signing a big named free agent even with all the money we have. I don't!! He's said a number of times he wants to build through the draft. I would love to have Favre back but if I had to put money on it. I don't see it happening.

When Brett Favre's two biggest endorsements are for Sensodyne and Prilosec, isn't it time for him to retire? [IMG]

Where does all of the "Brett Favre Hate" come from on this board? Is everyone that excited to see Aaron Rodgers running for his life next year?

No but I know I don't want to see Favre finish his career with back to back losing seasons. If TT spends money which I don't think he will then yeah I hope he comes back. If we have another off-season of cleaning house which seems to be the direction he's going then I'm not sure I want Favre legacy tarnished by 2 horrible seasons. Grady Jackson isn't coming back and Flanigan is likely gone. Rumor has it KGB is on the trading block as well for some picks..

I really like Favre, but I couldn't resist the joke. Personally, I will really miss Favre, but I think he should go ahead and retire. It doesn't sound like his heart is in football anymore and the Packers won't be good again for awhile. If the Pack doesn't get rid of Ted Thompson, it may be a good long while. I like the Pack, so I take no pleasure in that opinion.
