It's great to see Lamar Odom be agressive and take over a game. If he can do that with Kobe there and if Bynum plays like he did last night, the Lakers will be tough to beat.
Not only that...we dont have Mihm and Kwame. Man our bench is so deep with young guys that if one struggles the other will want to step up. PG- Smush, Sasha, Farmar SG-Kobe, Mo Evan or Sasha F-Luke, Turiaf, Odom, Cook C-Bynum, Mihm, Kwame I love it.
Yeah, don't have too high expectations. Sure, a young team might be good during the season, but later on, especially in the playoffs, experience beats young legs.

I'll be happy with the team advancing to Round 2 this season.
I'm happy with this little undefeated start. One thing that excites me is the fact that we can nearly guarentee that in every game, one of the big men on our team will be some what dominant. One of Chris Mihm, Bynum, Kwame and Turiaf are going to pull down 10 boards a game. I think we destroy teams with our rebounding. Also, we are heavy at the guard spots with Sasha, Smush, Kobe, Evans, Farmar and Shammond all being capable of shooting well. Radman, Luke and Cook can also be sparks on any given night. I think I just mentioned the whole team.
i dont understand why we cant just cut mckie and sign rose- he specifically said he wants to be a laker!
<div class="quote_poster">egyptianlaker32 Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Rose is on the suns The suns always get good guys Damn</div> I think this was a meaningless signing by the Suns. They already have enough wing players on their roster, so why add another? I don't see how Jalen will fit into their picture, and I don't see how he will fit in their rotation given how many guards they already have. I don't really think this is a move that will put the Suns on top. We all know they already have enough offense, and what they lack is defense. Rose doesn't provide the Suns with anymore defense. If I remember correctly, didn't Kobe score 81 points against him?
One of the things I noticed the Lakers improved much more than last year, and it wasn't LO's factor or Kobe's factor or the more talented players we had now compare to last year. But actually it was the ball movement! Last year, I rarely saw a game where the Lakers' players moved around constantly, but now they hustled and moved the ball around extremely well. Maybe it's that 1 year of experience under Phil Jackson's triangle.
I don't think Jalen Rose will fit in the roster, at this point Suns are just signing people who can shoot from outside. With Rose being an older player, I don't think he can keep up with the Suns fastbreak. He won't take them to the finals thats for sure.
