The Nets need to play well, in order to beat the NBA champions and turnovers will really kill them. Bench Play-Another thing that really killed us during the playoffs. Once the starting five went off the floor, it was horrible. Most of the second unit could not score or play good defense. This season we have a different bench that will need to provide us with what we were missing last season. Foul Trouble-The Nets are missing Cliff Robinson who brings excellent defense to the Nets against Shaq. Krstic, Moore and Collins must play smart defense. They will need to contain Shaq, but that doesn't mean they have the luxery to get into foul trouble especially in this game.

We have to prove that we are one of the top team and beating Miami will get us recognizable.
Coming off a 42 point loss to the Bulls, the Heat are out to head hunt. And who do they face? The Nets has to be on top of their game to beat Miami. Capable? Of course. It's just the circumstances that will make the Heat tougher to beat.
as long as the nets compete and dont get blown out...it should be a good game. both teams matchup well.
Well I'm really getting annoyed by Carter. Jumper after jumper, and it's not like he is on fire or anything like that. 6-15...good job. I can't remember the last time he drove in for a dunk.
<div class="quote_poster">Carter Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">1-7 for threes? What the fack is Vince thinking?</div> He isn't and that's the problem. I will be upset if we lose this game, because we are able to beat the Heat but it's the minor things killing us.
Jefferson isn't exactly playing great either so we can't fully blame Vince. Thank god it's only 69-67.
