^^ I thought that's what we were going to have to do if the judges didn't finish the voting. But since they did, I think we're going to do it the other way.
<div class="quote_poster">Iggy Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">(To J_ray's post)^^ Pretty much. Cause if you just did it straight up, the first person would be at a disadvantage because the other 2 can rebuttal while he can't. Also, if you want, you can PM it to me and I'll set it up. Chutney's probably busy with New Years stuff and right now I'm bored as hell. </div> That's what I figured, it wouldn't be fair to first person to post. I'd wait for Chutney, some Canadians just can't be trusted

However, do to the different life styles many of us lead whats good for some is bad for others as far as time goes. Its easier for two people to agree on when they should battle and how long. Than for 16 people to agree on a set time limit over the course of a month. Just my two cents for future contests/rap battles.</div> It worked in the summer though, maybe we should just do these tournaments in the summer time.

I mean, there was just the members who worked, and they'd post in thier verses at night. With the winter tourney, everyone has places to go, jobs to go to, and school work to finish as well (assuming people have assignments). Honestly, I'm actually really iffy about my status for this tourney. My main reason is because I'm working almost every single day next week and my shifts are like 2 - 10 pm, and it takes me half an hour to come home. I usually shower, eat my dinner, and then come up to sleep. By that time, I'd be too tired to be thinking of rap battles and such. The next day, I'll probably sleep in till like 1 or so, and then go to work again at 2, and the cycle continues. I think I'll be free for one day next week but I have to go to the mall all day that day to do all the shopping that I missed out on during boxing day so that's my whole week ahead. I get the chance to post in these threads of course but my heart's really not into the rap battles and thinking of creative rhymes. If it would help you guys run the tourney at a much smoother pace and not have to wait around for me, or have to settle for my half-assed verses, I'll drop out from the tourney. We can have a new champ and I can join in as a judge I guess - pending on if the rest of the judges/battlers agree. Plus, that way somebody from that 3 way battle can get into the tourney as well. Atleast they actually battled before losing; I just posted one half-assed verse and flew in to the second round. Sorry guys, tell me what you think; I don't mind dropping out if it helps everyone else's situation.

You shouldn't drop out unless you want to, or if its just impossible for you to post a verse.

That's why I'm saying, if it helps, I'm willing to drop out and let the 3 way battle progress like it was supposed to (between AF, and the other two people who lost in the first round) for the chance to face Iggy in round 2. I won't mind joining in as a judge if everyone would let me. It's not that I don't have the chance to post, but that whenever I do post it's usually right before I leave for work or pretty late at night (like right now) where thinking of creative lines wouldn't really be my greatest focus.
It actually works out perfectly. So for round 3, it would be Chutney vs. MrJ on one side, and on the other Iggy vs. whoever the winner of the 3-way (between AF, phun and J_Ray?) is.
Karma gets a hott Jessica Alba avatar and now all his time is spent doing other things and he's suddenly a "busy" guy. Coincidence? I think not.

My manager decided that for the 3 or so days I called in sick last week he'd book me in for almost every day this coming week. I told him I wouldn't mind working alot during the Christmas break anyway so I guess he took me up for it. Our schedule is created every Wednesday (rather than every 2 weeks) so yeah. Edit: And I apologize for my bad timings and sudden changes in the past month or so, dating all the way back to the 3 on 3 tourney that I dropped from. Last week was just a horrible week for me though.

If it does come down to the three-on-three thing, I think Karma should be able to choose who wins and takes his spot against Iggy. Therefore we don't have to wait for every judge to have time and come in vote in the battle. It would also make things more interesting.
I understand where you're coming from Karma. It wouldn't be the same if you had to rush your verse or put out a verse just for the sake of putting one down. So yeah I guess we'll have to do that whole 3 way battle and I like the idea of Karma choosibg the winner.
LOL, whats taking so long, it's been like 2 weeks almost 3.. Karma and AznxBaller are sick and what about the other battles?
^^ Karma is dropping out due to timeline issues. So what will be happening is there will be a 3way battle between the losers of round 2 to determine who will battle me in the 3rd round.
Iggy I heard you beat Swish and Air Fresh, 2 guys who I thought could beat you. Man you really stepped your game up, and I hope you get the title. I am going for you man, gotta go all the way. Kinda bad for Karma in this tourney.
Why even have a consolation bracket? When the competition is over why not just call out whoever you want to battle. I doubt we would be able to finish a consolation bracket when the actual bracket is having trouble concluding.
How about I choose who I face in round 3? LMFAO And thanks Umair, I was confident going into this tourney. My main gameplan was to fix my flow, come up with more mature lines and use more wordplay. To tell you the truth, I didn't think I beat Air Fresh with what I put down that round, but I guess the judges liked what they saw. Swish put up a tough fight too in the first. But damn, I was really looking forward to battling Karma.
