<div class="quote_poster">TwinTowers Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Paul Harris isnt a PG</div> He might play the point for Syracuse because after McNamara left, they don't really have many options there. They also have a lot of talent on the wing already with guys like Demetris Nichols and Eric Devendorf. I think Winn's list sucks regardless though, and he's a real rookie when it comes to sports analysis. How can Greg Oden be number one unless you put all the emphasis on the fact that he won't play the first half of the season, and if you do that, how would he still be #2? That's messed up. Kevin Durant should be one of the top three or four impact freshman, and probably the leading scorer on Texas, but he's not as ready to contribute as Thaddeus Young is, especially physically. Tywon Lawson should be higher on that list without question as well. He's already making a great impression on the players and coaching staff at Chapel Hill, and they've announced he'll be their starting point guard on that team that many people consider the preseason title favorite (myself included). He'll really rack up the dimes this season. I don't get why Sherron Collins is so high up on the list. He's one of the more talented freshman, but he's not one of the top ten most talented, and he sure as hell isn't going to be one of the top ten with the biggest impact while playing on a team that has Russell Robinson and Mario Chalmers splitting time at the point already. Thabeet will be an instant impact player but only because of the playing time he'll be thrust into. His game is still very raw, so don't expect him to put up the kind of numbers that other centers like Oden, Hawes, Caracter, or even Zoubek will be putting up. Take it from me. I've seen almost all of these prospects first hand, and here's how it'll probably shake down as far as instant impacts go (I'm doing this off the top of my head) - #10 - Paul Harris #9 - Wayne Ellington #8 - Chase Budinger #7 - Derrick Caracter #6 - Tywon Lawson #5 - Spencer Hawes #4 - Kevin Durant #3 - Daequan Cook #2 - Thaddeus Young #1 - Greg Oden (injury aside)
