X-Factor players: Andre Miller, Shaun Livingston Denver Nuggets: Andre Miller. We need him to step up and score some baskets. He always has trouble scoring against the Clippers because of the tough interior defense with Brand and Kamen. He needs to get his jumpshot going so he doesn't have to rely on driving to the basket. Los Angeles Clippers: Shaun Livingston. Now healthy, his role becomes much bigger. He needs to be able to step in and keep the offense running smoothly. BALLAHOLLIC's key to victory: - Perimeter defense. If we let Sam Cassell or Cutino Mobley gain an inch of space, they will burn us every single time down the floor. Both are excellent jumpshooters. - Andre Millers scoring capability. The Clippers held Andre Miller to single digit scoring numbers in each of the games we played against them last season. - Marcus Camby's defense on Elton Brand. Camby seemed lost at times guarding Brand last season. He underestimates his short jump shot which he openly gave him too many times last year. Conclusion: I actually think we will pull this one out. Karl seems to have all of the troops ready. Nuggets win 103-97.
I know... I'm really late for this. Clippers: 96 Nuggets: 95 I cant say im upset with the loss, We played one hell of a game without Carmelo. We lost the game on our own. When JR Smith stole the ball and dunked with 12 seconds left, I jumped in the air and rolled my ankle on the way down. I think it's sprained. Reasons why we lost the game: - Carmelo Anthony's ejection. We had plenty of chances to win the game without him, But we missed his scoring. - We shot way too many 3 pointers, 17% from 3 point range is just unacceptable. We took so many horrible shots. - Andre Miller shot 0-11 from the field, He took a few horrible shots towards the end. Bright spots from our loss: - Marcus Camby. 16 points, 18 rebounds, 4 blocks. - JR Smith. While he shot too many 3 pointers, I loved the play from him. - Nene. He had 10 points, 7 rebounds in only 14 minutes of play.
