Anyone watch it last night? Nothing too important, asked some questions on how he was feeling, when we could expect him back and stuff. He said he's day-to-day right now, he's really happy to see the Lakers doing so well, etc. Stephen A said some STUUUUPID sh!t at the end, he was like. "Kobe hurry up and come back, I don't wanna see Lamar Odom avg 28 pts at your expense" ANd while he was saying that, Kobe had this like confused "WTF R U TALKING ABOUT" look on his face, then laughed it off though. I thought that was a retarded thing to say. P.S. Off topic, Dan Patrick on the ESPN Show said KG Rumors for Lamar/Kwame are brewing up again. Supposedly Kobe's also been sitting out to show that Lamar can lead a team. What you boys think about that?

They've come too, far with Odom and the chemistry on this team is something you don't need to touch right now. Odom is just starting to breakout and I can't imagine how he'd feel if he was traded now, especially since his son just passed away. I'd love KG to be a Laker, but acquiring him means the Lakers have to start at square one again. He doesn't know the offense, and he's not familiar with the players on the roster. If we can get KG without trading Odom, Kobe, or Bynum, I'm all for it. If we can land him for Kwame, Mihm, McKie, Radman and some draft picks that would be outstanding, but the likelyhood of that is zero. The TWolves should have jumped on the Bulls offer last summer for KG. IMO Dan Patrick is just trying to make a story out of the comments Magic Johnson made on TNT. He said GMs around the league have been asking about Bynum and Odom.
radman, mihm and mckie would be a good trade for KG... Im sure we would need both bynum and kwame to go deep in the playoffs we could give away radman coz we already have Luke!
Radman surprised me this season with his defense and hustle, despite his hand. It would be smart to play him more so his value could go up and package him with a couple more people for a KG calibur player. But I don't mind sticking with this squad either, seeing how they're growing together.
Im actually happy with the lineup we currently have right now. The only glaring weakness I see is at PG. I love Farmar but Smush and Sasha's time is up.. I dont understand why they renewed Sasha's contract.
I think getting KG would make us worse, now. This team finally has chemistry, and Lamar is looking amazing. Garnett is old and would disrupt our chemistry.
come on man, don't disrespect KG and call him old. Shaq is old, KG is not. KG has many more years to go, don't be fooled by the weak T-Wolves team he has been stuck with.
First 2 games of season for KG: He played 37 and 41 minutes. 27 and 24 pts, 15 and 12 rbs, 3 blocks both games, 2 and 3 assists, shots 9-16 and 7-9 FG/FGA, 9-11 and 10-10 FT/FTA. Even if KG is old, he is still putting up some pretty nice numbers, and efficient shooting and free-throw shooting. Chemistry could be a concern.
Odom's stats are 28 Pts, 8.7 Rebs, 7.0 Assts, 54% from the field. 3 years younger than KG, and coming into his 3rd season in the offense. Plus he makes less than KG.
