No one posted anything, so I am just gonna start the thread without any graphics or anything.

It's going to be interesting if we come out with the same type of energy as we did against the Bulls. This could be similar to the Bulls, huge emotional high in game one, but move down from the high for the 2nd game. Dwight put up 28 26 in the last meeting against the 76ers, should be interesting what he does tonight.

    I pick a 4 point Magic win.

i think the magic are going to be a pretty tough matchup for alot of teams this year because of dwight. but i think the sixers can pull out a big win tonight if they can keep howard off the offensive glass, and limit orlandos perimiter scoring. webber gaurding howard is a pretty lobsided matchup. the sixers will definately need to make some matchup changes to make sure howard doesnt have another huge game.

That's exactly what the Bulls fans said. [IMG]

thats true. i guess it should be a pretty interesting game! the magic are quickly turning into one of my favorite teams. i love dwights game, and i would love to see what he and darko can do in the future. but i have a feeling philly is gonna be taking this one, and iverson should have a pretty big game.

Good to see Grant Hill playing and playing well, I hope he can play the full season this year unhindered (though if he wants to play crap against the Bulls next time, I'm all for it).

Philly actually did a decent job of limiting howard on the boards, but hill had a good game. Iverson went off with 39 and 10 assts, and korver had a good game off the bench.

we killed ourselves with turnovers... we traveled like 10 times in that game. We made stupid mistakes and just one of the turnovers could have been the game for us. Hopefully they learn from their mistakes and pick up their game against the Hawks.

this was great...u guys have no idea how pissed i am...damn it, we lost, it just got to me...i hate iverson, like he used to be tight before, but now i have more hate for him than even malik allen...grrrr i cant wait for that hawks game, and guess what i get to do....work! and they gave me some gay shift, like 10:30-4, so i get off as the magic game ends, im about to call in sick just so i can watch us WIN

I don't see why everyone is mad. Iverson had to pull one out of his ass for this one. Even with our turnovers we played really well.

no, you obviously dont get it, we lost to one of the worst teams (compared to us at least) in the east...they cant matchup with us, they have 1 good player, who happens to pull one out his ass against us

Never count out the Sixers man, never, especially with A.I. leading the charge. I also don't know what you're talking about. Philly is far from the worst bro.

The two A.I.'s, Kyle Korver, and two good big men with Teddy Bear and Steve Hunter. You also can't forget Rodney Carney and C-Webb.

I was pretty pissed at first, but then I realized that the Sixers won by 2 MERE points with....

    1. Magic turning it over 23 times(including probably 10-12 that was unforced)
    2. Dwight Howard not being effective.
    3. AI going absolutely nuts from the floor 60%.
    4. Kyle Korver having a once and a lifetime game. (We had a hand in him and AI's face most of the time, they just hit everything)
    5. We missed so many FT's it's not even funny.
    6. Darko/Battie being in foul trouble and having to rely on Pat Garrity for heavy minutes.
    7. No Carlos Arroyo or JJ Redick.
    8. Us not really seeming to care and come out with not that much energy.

After all of that, we only lost by 2 points and were right in the middle of this game throughout. So I'm disappointed, but with so many things not going right for us, it's refreshing to know that we went right down to the wire against a playoff caliber team(they WILL be competing for the 7th-8th seed).

Also games where you come out flat are bound to happen, so thankfully we got one of those games out of the way early and hopefully this will be a wakeup call to the team.

i think the problem is that we got a little cocky after that bulls game...we saw they killed the heat and we destroyed them, so we came into the sixers game thinking hey, we have this, theyre going to give it to us, but that wasnt the case and thats the reason we are 1-1 and they are 2-0

that definately was not a once in a lifetime game if you have ever seen the sixers play before. korver is probably one of the best (if not the best) shooters in the nba.
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">AI going absolutely nuts from the floor 60%</div> people should be used to that by now, iverson will most likely have another mvp type season, and could actaully win the award if the sixers win the atlantic division and have at least 50 wins.
if anything the sixers should have won by more because c-webb and dalembert didn't really have signifacant games. the magic are still a young team and should be expected to lose close games to more veteran teams. phillys team chemistry should be much better this year, and translate into more wins against teams they SHOULD beat, as apposed to last year losing games to teams that had no business winning.

shaq is the only player im used to seeing shoot 60% from the field...and there is no way 6ers win 50+ games...they wont win more than the magic...guaranteed
