InsideHoops.com editor Jeff Lenchiner reports that Jalen Rose will be signing with the Phoenix Suns in the next few hours. The Miami Heat also wanted Rose. Check JalenRose.com later today for some quotes from Jalen about the news." from http://www.insidehoops.com/nba_rumors.shtml
Phoenix was a good place for him to go. With Nash distributing Rose can just spot up and shoot wherever he likes. He doesn't play much defense, so he should feel right at home with the Suns. Also, he can play a little point guard and allow Nash to get a quick rest. Still, I think he would fit in better with Miami in a slower offense with more veterans.
<div class="quote_poster">Flow Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">I don't like Rose, he's contract is problably BS and Phoenix has enough shooters already.</div> ............................................................ I'm willing to bet his contract is in the 2-3 million range. Which if true, is a massive deal for someone of Rose's caliber. I admit though, I've hated on him a lot. But when he wants to be, he's a valuable contributer.
Damn man... I can't believe the Lakers didn't make a push for him. I can't think of any good reason to keep Aaron Mckie other than his expiring contract. Jalen Rose is a worthy piece of the puzzle that I'm content in taking than trading Mckie's expiring contract to get whoever that player is. Damn Mitch, where you at these last few days? I bet he's "in da club" with 50 cents

<div class="quote_poster">Flow Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">I don't like Rose, he's contract is problably BS and Phoenix has enough shooters already.</div> He signed for the vet min, a 1 year deal. Like Tim Thomas did last season.
Denver was the place for him. They need another wing scorer who can go inside and score in the post as well, and that's Rose.
