Redd scored 26 points, Charlie Villanueva had 25 and the Bucks beat the Sacramento Kings 104-91 in their home opener Saturday night.

Andrew Bogut finished with 21 points and eight rebounds for the Bucks, who had lost four in a row and nine of their last 10 against Sacramento since January 2002.

Mo Williams had 15 points and 12 assists and Ruben Patterson added 10 points as all five starters scored in double figures for Milwaukee.

"That's the beauty of the team this year," Redd said. "Our offense is really explosive, really diverse. We have multiple guys that can score. It showed tonight."

Nice to see all the guys getting into the act; this is what we need with the point guards getting sorted out and Bobby on the bench.

Very quietly, Andrew Bogut has had an extremely impressivei start to his season. Not only is he playing after seriously injuring himself just a short time ago, but he's averaging 18.3 ppg, 8.0 rpg and shooting 68.8% from the floor. It's like we said all last season; if Bogut gets the ball enough to get in a rythm, he's going to be one hell of a player. Good start for him, and let's hope the Bucks keep playing this brand of smart, team oriented ball.

Charlie has been playing very well, 19-11 so far, his rebounding is really surprising.

Good call. I'm not ready to crown Charlie the next Charles Oakley yet, but he's been much better defensively and on the boards than I expected. I might end up having to eat some crow here if he keeps it up.

Maybe what Charlie needed was to play with a guy like Bogut. Bogut is an aggressive player, he takes charges, and he's intense. Maybe that's rubbing off on Charlie. He sees another young big man who plays hard and is trying to maximize his talent, and it could be that he's starting to make more of a commitment to his defense and board work. I don't know if he'll keep it up, but it's certainly an encouraging start. Keep it up, Charlie!
