<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Washington Wizards Coach Eddie Jordan was happy to come away from Saturday night's home opener with a 124-117 win over the Boston Celtics, but he was not satisfied with his team's defense and rebounding.

The Celtics shot 52.9 percent and held a 43-28 rebounding advantage. In two games, the Wizards have been outrebounded 93-61.

"Who are we?" Jordan asked after practice yesterday before answering his own question. "Our formula the last two years has been what you saw [Saturday night]: Don't turn the ball over, our three scorers score, we turn people over -- they had 23 turnovers -- but, I told the team today, that formula gets you the fifth seed."

Jordan's main concern was seeing several Celtics, including Paul Pierce, Sebastian Telfair and Tony Allen, get to the rim for easy layups.

"Open jump shots you can live with if you are cutting off penetration, but you can't give up layups and open shots," Jordan said. "You can't give up 12 layups in one quarter. You just can't do it."</div>

The frontcourt hasn't done a great job boxing out their players and preventing those second chance points. They didn't do a good job anchoring their paint against the Celtics on defense as well as they did against the Cavs, but you do have to see what they've done. They forced an average of 20 turnovers so far, with 9 of them being steals. Antawn Jamison has played a lot more aggressive in the paint and Caron Butler has done nothing but deflect passes on defense. It's going to take some time for the defense to tighten up, but they will get the job done.
