I think that Brian Hill has gotten into their heads after todays loss and we will see a more energetic Magic team tomorrow, straight from the start. Don't expect a third straight loss.

I'll have my game thread up tommorow. One thing you should change is that Etan Thomas is starting, not Haywood and that your prediction is trash. [IMG]

Magic continue their early season struggles and lose by 7 or 8 [IMG]

We need to take care of the ball, if we have any chance of beating the Wiz we need to limit the turnovers. The other area that really needs to be fixed is the defense we play on the other teams star player. We have been burned by AI and J.J in back to back games. We have to make sure that we limit Arenas and make someone else beat us.

Magic better come out firing on all cylinders tonight and hold Arenas to under 50% shooting. I don't care if he goes off for 40 points just as long as he's not shooting 60% like Iverson did. If we can hold him to 40-45% then we should win this game.

Hill will have his hands full guarding Arenas.

We need to keep Butler and Jamison quiet... Gilbert's gonna get his.

stevenson returns to orlando should be interesting...if they wanna win..they need to rebound the way they did in the first game and not let arenas blow up like he did last year with the magic and make sure to keep an eye out on jamison when arenas is doubled

Like I said in Ming's preview for the Wizards, Jameer Nelson will be the X Factor. He needs to distribute the ball and get ball movement going, while containing Arenas. 3.3 apg is pathetic. We all had high hopes for him, but he's really been struggling. He's gotta start being a leader on the court, like he is off the court.

Whether or not we win tonight depends largely on one man...

I just want to see that offense we saw in the first game from Howard. I don't want to believe that was a one hit wonder.

Hedo Turkoglu is playing great right now. He already has four three pointers with 4:30 still left in the 1st quarter. We've also been trying to get the ball to Grant and Dwight but the Wizards are doing a pretty good job shutting those two down.

EDIT: Dwight has two BIG blocks already. His first block was against Gilbert Arenas and he just slammed the ball to the ground. His second block was just pinned between the rim and the backboard. He's doing pretty good defensively right now.

Battie just went up for a dunk and got nailed by Etan Thomas. He was just on the ground and looks a little shaken up. He's shooting his free throws but let's hope it doesn't stick with him.

Dwight just had his third block and he swatted it off Arenas' head! He's playing beastly right now!

well unless he scores 21 points and grabs 8 rebounds in the second half, we're losing this game, at least according to you

Yeah, I'm suprised Etan Thomas and Brendan Haywood were able to contain Howard so far on the offensive end, but it didn't stop Dwight from anchoring the paint on defense. If they can keep playing like this and get some rebounds, then we might be able to win. [IMG]

How come Dwight is either a beast or a no show? It seems like it's all or nothing with him.
