The Wizards are getting offensive productions from a lot of players tonight and Etan Thomas has been very active on the boards. If the Wizards can just make the stops near the end like they've been gunning for, they should win it.

Great game by the Magic. Carlos Arroyo has been incredible in these last two games and he is playing like our star player right now. 23 points off the bench is phenominal and he knows how to help our team without scoring. He makes perfect passes and is always looking to push the ball and get the transition game going. Also, he had one play towards the end of the game where he made a three and then on defense drew a foul from Stevenson (it was a major flop) and it was just a smart veteren move that gave us the ball back and put us in position to shift the momentum and give us a lead. Keyon Dooling is another guy who played great in all aspects of the game. He came through on both sides of the court.

I'm very happy with our performance tonight and everyone played well. Even though Dwight's offense wasn't clicking, he made an impact with his rebounds and defense (5 blocks!!!). I love the way we played tonight and hopefully we can keep it up.

well it was a good game...and whose prediction was 2 points off??? i predicted 108-103 and we won 106-103, thats as accurate as a prediction gets...dwight needs to score more man, but ill take the 14 rebounds and 5 blocks...arroyo is playing amazing right now, if he keeps this up, he's getting the runaway winner for 6th man of the year

    dwight stats so far
    ppg-14.8
    rpg-10.5
    bpg-2.8

i want to see the points go up by 4 and the rebounds by 3...the blocks are good so far, he needs to keep it up

also, with garrity getting any PT magic are 0-2, with pg getting 0 minutes, magic are now 2-0

Arroyo's playing big for us right now, he's making great passes and shooting the lights out of the ball.

The Big 2, Dwight and Darko, need to step it up. Dwight needs to get more touches, his blocking and rebounding is looking good though.

    ...and screw Pat Garrity. [IMG]

Chuck, if you read what I said about Dwight, I thought he did good other than his scoring. His rebounding and defense looked good even though he wasn't scoring. You're right about Jameer though, he's been bad lately. Hopefully he can pick it up and Arroyo's production will keep him on his toes and make sure he doesn't take his starting job for granted.

I'd be tempted to continue to play Arroyo down the stretch and keep Jameer on the bench. He was by far the worst player for us. Bogans had that huge rebound. Dwight played very good, he proved that he could help change a game even when he isn't scoring or getting the ball. The old Dwight would have just moped about not getting the ball and not try to be active on the boards and on defense.

The way Carlos is playing we have to keep bringing him off the bench, he provides so much when we have less offensive options. I think putting him with the 1st team to start the game would be good, but I think the effect he has in the middle and at the end of games is even better. The guy is pure energy. Him and Dooling are tearing it up. I dont think we change anything just yet, let them play and let Carlos school the 2nd stringers on the other team.

Sorry got off topic. The game was tight and man was it good. We got into with those douche bag wizards fan who made a 8 year old cry. The drank ass started swearing at the lil kid cuz he was cheering for the Magic. Of course we got our 2 cents in and then he was escorted out my security.

It was an exciting game to say the least. I knew the Wizards were going to break down near the end of the game, I just didn't think it would be on the offensive end. Etan Thomas missing those two free-throws really hurt us, but other than that, he had a hot night. What I did see was that the Wizards were able to get the stops on defense that allowed them to keep the score close and that's a good sign to see for games in the future.

Obviously the Wiz weren't able to defend the perimeter shooting by Arroyo, Turkoglu and Dooling, which hurt us. The Wiz got careless with the ball and committed stupid turnovers in the 4th quarter, untimely ones too. Hopefully it's a once in a while type of thing though, we can't have turnovers hurting the team.

Only 5 second half turnovers for the Magic. Hopefully this is a sign of things to come.

hopefully...and hopefully dwight and jameer pick it p next game, i mean the sonics have a small white PG so jameer should be able to take advantage of that and they have nobody that can stop dwight on the frontline...chris wilcox will get in foul trouble if he tries to stop dwight...im expecting something like 21 and 14 from dwight with 3 blocks, and like 18 points and 7 assists with 3 turnovers from jameer...that would be awesome...also if darko could find a way to get up around 10 points and 2 blocks it would be greatly appreciated by the magic fans

Yeah, because if they had a small PG of any other racial background it wouldn't make a difference.

There has been an influx of racism in this forum; it makes me sick. And I'm not one to look for it when it isn't there.

Jameer Nelson-- small, black, crappy defense
Carlos Arroyo-- small, hispanic, crappy defense
Travis Diener-- small, white, crappy defense

    See what I'm getting at?

What does having a small white PG have anything to do with Jameer doing good? Luke Ridnour is good if you didn't know. Also, Steve Nash is white canadian in fact and was won the MVP award back2back.

I was going to make a similar comment about racism. You guys need to look past a player's skin color because it really makes you look ignorant. Pat Garrity has also been called things like "white ******" but I erased them from posts. While we all hate Pat Garitty, there is no need to mention a player's race like I have told you guys before. If anyone on this board continues to talk about a player's race or has any hint of racism in their posts, they will be issued an infraction. Depending on the situation, a suspension may be given. This is a serious topic and I hope you all understand that.

Carlos Arroyo really stepped up for you guys. The Wizards like I've said, played poor defense down the stretch and gave up too many open shots.
