that the game is decided by 2 objectionable (at best) calls.

it happens....Seattle could have overcome those calls though....the Hasslebeck penalty was the most ridiculous thing ive ever seen....id be interested to see the variance in total penalty yards....but the Steelers won the game, and its over....

I counted three or four... Which two are you referring to? There are more than two to choose from.

Yeah I was dissapointed with the refs as well but am I the only one who saw the end of the 2nd half. You don't deserve to win the game with the way the managed the game at the end of the half. Even at the end of the game they managed the game poorly. Seattle had there chances and they blew it!!

I counted the Roeth TD, the 1st PI, the Hasslebeck PF as the 3 calls I thought were bad....

Y'all forgot offsides on Alexander. How does the TB get called for that when he's 8 yards off the LOS?

I agree the game management was bad? When did Holmgren come down w/ a case of Martz-itis?

Holmgren should be ashamed being outstrategized & out thought by Cowher. Though, It could just be the BYU influence seeping through?

He flinched... I saw it. I was hoping they didn't call it but you could tell he flinched.

yea its really sad that a superbowl has calls that determine the game, but you know what this season especially there have been a lot of bad calls. And i think this season there have been more penalties than any other season. i dont think thats just the players. There have been even calls where the NFL has said it was wrong (Polumalu int). did anyone notice that it was only the guys 5th year in the NFL and he has the lowest overturning rate by refs. is it just me or does that qualify for inexperienced?

A flinch would matter if he were on the LOS but he wasn't therefore its as mindnumbingly petty as the Offensive intereference on D Jacson?

The Roth TD was questionable - the rest of the calls (I don't remember the Alexander offsides) I thought were ok, even though they might be a bit touchy.

It's not whether you win or lose, it's how you play the game...

Oh, wait. It's whether you win or lose.

In that case, congrats Steelers. [IMG]

I think what bothers me the most is that after beating....

Cincinnati, Indy, and Denver on the road, the tremendous amount of disrespect. It's astounding.

Seattle beat up on some pretty sad teams all season long and even played two one-dimensional teams in the playoffs. They are a good team, but not battle tested.

Everyone needs to take their short-term memory meds and get on with their days.
