My cousin gave me a Supernatural CD (The Lost Freestyle Files) a couple weeks ago and I've finally got around to listening to it. One track (#8 I think) has a battle between Supernatural and Juice that's apparently legendary. What's up with how that ended? Nat was dominating after the first few verses, but then they did something like switching the order for the final verses, which apparently pissed him off. Then they started up a beat and he said he didn't like it or something. The crowd booed him, but then he kicked a good rap on a new beat. The track plays Juice's response, but then it ends. I have no idea who was considered the winner and what all that confusion and controversy was about. Anybody know enough to give me a little info?

Yeah Supernat is one of the illest freestyler's EVER....the album is okay.....Supernat isn't a great song writer, but he broke the world record for longest freestyle not too long back.....as far as him and Juice go, I think they've battled a lot, I personally thought Supernat got him....."understudy?....that s##ts suicidal/f**k that s**t supernatural is your idol!!!!"....I love that line.

Supernatural won the battle, amist controversey. But yeah, you pretty much answered your own question, lol. Supernatural thought that they were trying to screw him over, as he is / was the top freestyler at the time, and he hadnt really been beaten before except for the 94' battle with Craig G, and when they told him they were going to switch up the order, and they gave him that horrible beat, thats what pushed him over the edge. I think he had every right to change the beat, it wasnt a very good beat to freestyle over, it was too slow.

The Craig G vs. Supernatural battle on that album is alot better, it too ends in controversey, lol.

That clears it up. I was talking to some dude about it and he was a little critical of Nat, saying how he pussed out by requesting a new beat. But yea, I agree with you NTC, I thought it was stupid how they just changed the order around on him and the beat was pretty weak.

The Craig G battle was definitely better. I thought it was cool how they didn't pause or anything, just started yelling over each other. It was just continuous rhymes and it really got me more interested. What was the controversy at the end of that battle?

Yea, DREAM, the album is decent. It's the freestyles that make it crazy. The studio tracks are alright, but they don't stand out. I loved that one freestyle with A-Butta, where Nat starts making rhymes about the X-Men.

I'm not too sure about the controvesey surrounding the second Craig G battle, but in the battle Craig says somthing about Supernatural mentioning his son or somthing along those lines, although I'm not too sure what he was talking about. Also Supernatural claimed that his Mic was cut off, so he couldnt respond, basically thought he was getting screwed over again.

"I'll tell you what Craig, you really dont sound like you used to, you aint had a deal since you roll with the juice crew"

"I'll tell you what, oh, no, I got a freak a flow, I said your Dad is a b*tch and your moms is my hoe, henney sippin one time brother I got it rippin, I f**cked your sister, and now I got her ass pimpin'"

Those 2 lines are my favourite from that battle.

I'm a big fan of both guys though, both their freestyles and written stuff.
