before halftime and end of game, i have never seen such bad clock management.

i dont know what they were thinking befiore halftime, asnd i dont know what they were thinking at end of game.

Other Downfall, Brown missing 2 kicks. then it wouldve been 21-16 and there wouldve been a whole other strategy.

those are the 2 big things i think brought Seattle down

yea there was a lot of bad coaching decisions by Holmgren, most notably end of halftime and end of game why were they throwing short passes with 20 secs left?

That was Mike Holmgrem feeing him info through the head set. I put that on the coach.

of course...the ref...yeah that is true...brown's two missed field goal were caused by the refs...and Big Ben's two picks and other mistakes by Pitt were taken away by the ref...boohoo...

They definately had some problems with the clock, but it wasn't as bad as if looked. With the exception of what went on after the draw play, that is how Seattle usually handles the end of a half. It can be madening to watch sometimes, but it's usually very effective. The Hawks offense is so deliberate that they try to leave no time on the clock and for what ever reason they just couldn't get the play off after the draw.

I think it's a little unfair to critisize Brown for these misses. 50+ yard FG are not automatic kicks, even indoors. The real problem was Seattle putting Brown in possition to attempt 50 yard FG's. Both kicks were very close and probably would have been good from 45 and in.

Agreed. 50+ is a tough distance - the fault should be with the team for not getting closer. In the end those two kicks were crucial to the game...

true but that was only end of game, not both the end of half and end of game.

Yeah he hit that right on. Seattle's coaching is to blame for that. They should of tried to get in better field goal range. I got the same feeling out of Holmgrem as I got in the wild card against the 49ers his last games as the GB Head Coach. I think he's planning for the future and his contract is up. I don't believe to see him in Seattle next year. Just a hunch. I think he'll retire.

You didnt watch the eagles-patriots super bowl? When Mcnabb was walking to line of scrimmage like he was at the park, going to picnic?

The clock manegment by the eagles was not as bad as that of the seahawks.

i agree the clock managment toward the end was terrible...i realize teams need to do certain things to win, but i hate it when teams deviate from the game plan in just like the 3rd quarter because they are down by like 7
