    Garnett fouled out.

Do Bynum's stats reflect his play? because his stats have been quite impressive for a 18 (19?) year old center.

You bet!! 20 points, 13 rebounds, 3 blocks. He's doing it all. Kwame may have to come off the bench and Mihm may just be shipped before the trade deadline.

Bynum, he's doing great, I can't wait to watch him next year and years after and see his game grow to MVP stats!

After a performance like that, only thing we need to worry about is Bynum drinking in celebration under the age of 21 [IMG]

    w00t! Go Bynum

HOw bout Kobe's EFFICIENT playing tonight? 17 pts on 5/6 fg, 7-7 from the line, that's what I'm talking about. Not to mention a handful of assists.

    Lakers geling right now.

If it wasn't for Phil and his bad rotations, we would have won this game in double digits, but I'll take the W.

Good win overall, Bynum was VERY impressive. Smush and Radmoan better shape up, they've made some bad decisions that almost cost the game. Odom and Walton played very well and I liked Bryant's diciplined style of play.

Bynum.....wow. That's all I can say about him. His play has been phenomenal so far and tonight was his best yet. I just saw the highlights, and he had a couple of great blocks tonight. I think, if he keeps playing like this, Mihm will become very expendible and should likely be gone by the deadline. Hell, I wouldn't doubt to see him keep starting if his play keeps up.

Impressive win last night by the Lakers. Once we learn how to close out games we will be tough to beat. Andrew Bynum was dominating the paint last night on both ends. This is exactly what I wanted to see from him, grab rebounds, alter shots and block shots.

In the post game show, they said Kobe Bryant had gathered his teammates around him after last nights practice and made it clear he's not going to bail their asses again this season. He said he doesn't want people standing around watching him when he has the ball on offense, and the team needs to be stronger on the inside. His teammates responded last night, especially Luke and Bynum.

The play of the night, and I'm going to count this as an official TRUCKED VICTIM, was Mike James getting roofed on a layup attempt. Andrew Bynum swooped in and timed the block perfectly sending the ball and James to the floor. It was the defensive stop the Lakers needed and switched momentum back to the Lakers.

When you look at the boxscore and see Bynum's double/double, pay attention to how many minutes it took him to rack up those numbers. He only played 29 minutes to produce 20/14. That's high level efficiency from the 19 year old.

I think his play tonight sealed Kwame's Brown fate on this team as a bench player for now.

    lol it's funny.

Bynum is doing to Kwame, what Kwame did with Mihm.

THey both stepped it up when the other was injured, and everyone then forgets waht the previous center did for the team.

With that said, LETS GO BYNUM!!!!!

I'm taking it that it was a great game. I couldn't watch, I was at work.

Bynum's stats look impressive, and I'm loving Kobe Bryant. If he can keep up around 20 PPG, to go along with 7 APG, and the Lakers keep winning, all the damn heat he catches should cease to exist.

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Nineteen-year-old Andrew Bynum -- the youngest player in the NBA -- had 20 points and 14 rebounds in the Lakers' 95-88 win over the Timberwolves. Bynum became the youngest player in Lakers' history to get a 20-and-10 game; he broke the record set by Magic Johnson, who was 20 years old when he had his first 20-point, 10-rebound game in November 1979.</div>

Here's a sidenote on the game. Congrats to Bynum!

I'm really liking the way Kobe is playing right now. He's playing within the offense and has been a distributor this season a lot moreso than last. If he can keep this up, I think that'll be great for him and all the negative press he gets. If he can do something like 22/6/7 all season, we could see him as an MVP candidate once again. Also, if he does that, I think the Lakers will have more success anyways. When he's not having to do everything and everyone else is getting involved is when the Lakers are at their best, and hopefully they continue to play that way this season.

Also, hopefully Bynum keeps his play up. I wouldn't mind seeing him become the full time starter this season. He's been a beast so far and he just keeps getting better and more comfortable every time out there. Once his conditioning gets better, I don't see why he can't be a 15/10 type of guy all season long. He's shown he can do it, and I think the way he's played, Brown might have lost his starting job because of that injury.

I guess i was the only one who knew Mike James would be a "trucked" victim [IMG]. BTW, I'm sure Kobe's scoring average will pick up and he'll assert himself a little bit more by mid season, he'll probably end up with 28 PPG and 7-8 apg.

    Here's to winning.
