I've been looking at these cars and I like them alot. They're sporty and new looking, definitely something I didn't expect from Chevrolet. And with my recent gain of a nice new job I can afford one pretty soon...i'd get the coupe not the sedan. This is the model I will most likely get if I purchase it... the LT: If I want to get dangerous... I could get the SS version which is much more expensive... (i'd want black with either model FWIW) Your thoughts on the Cobalt?
Shard go with the Subaru WRX if you want a bang for the buck fast car. Chevy cars don't maintain very well after the first couple of years, except for their trucks.
Those are what I wanna get too. That SS Supercharged is smooth but I've driven one and you can't use the rear mirror at all with the huge spoiler. The SS with the 17" rims are perfect IMO. The WRX though is like 5K more expensive, isn't it?
I just recently bought a Scion tC (the coupe, not the box) and for the money, you get a lot of options and stuff. You can add a supercharger to it if you want for like 3k more. I've heard good reviews about the new Cobalts though...check out the tC as well...you might like it.
chevy's are crap seriously...if ur gonna get the cobalt get the ss...all the other ones are ugly as hell...but if ur gonna get the ss good luck trying to pay ur insurance..like the dude said up there get a scion tc or like civic...thats the way to go if ur looking for a sporty 2 door

they are wicked cheap..somewhat cool looking i guess..and for the most part customizable...u can do anythind and everything to that car..being maunfactured by toyota...toyota is the number 1 manufacter for aftermarket parts worldwide..so u can find a part for it anywhere and cheap..and also young kids are buying these and there are tons of car clubs and meets for these scions believe me ive been to a few of them...so i guess this car causes a social scene u could say
I myself didn't buy the tC to rice it out. I was actually looking into a new Frontier, but I wanted better gas mileage and something that was much more practical for me. So I chose a tC. The reason...well, it's comfortable, it rides nice, it looks nice, it's got decent power, and a whole lotta options for the price. As stated above...it's a Toyota. I don't know about them being wicked cheap though. Mine cost me about $20 grand after taxes and fees (I added a spoiler). But yes, they are nicely priced compared to other cars in their class. Shard...I'd get whatever you like. Check out and see what fits your needs the best. Everyone has a different taste obviousy. Doesn't GM have the 5 year, 100k mile warranty now? You might want to take that into consideration.
Please pardon me for bringing this old topic up, that said, I'm going to run over your Scion tCs in my new Jeep Wrangler (it's a 2006 model though, not 2007 because I didn't like that weak German 07 engine). Damn, a lot of people I know have a Scion. Oh well, at least now I don't have to worry about snow/mud or those obnoxious pools of water that form on the street after a Hurricane.
