http://www.nba.com/features/player_rankings.html i have a few guys on that list on my fantasy team so im loving this week lol (boozer, randolph, johnson) keep it up Vince
it probably won't, but i think its good that people recognize that Iverson isn't even close to being done yet.
Honestly, this list has no point. It has only been 3-4 games for most of players there and now they are MVP candidates. One other thing, do your really expect to see Randolph, Boozer, and Villanueva on the rankings around March or April. I don't think so. I just don't see the point of making the list this early.
yea randolph will stay up there, thers no one else on that team, granted he stays healtthy randolph is a 20 10 player, boozer also is a 20 10 player, but he may slip off bcause the jazz have better players than the blazers

im not saying that there gunan win mvp awards but im just saying because someone said they wouldnt keep it up, so there really is a good chance they will keep it up, and im not saying that boozers gunna averge 14 boards and randolph will averge 26, but i wouldnt be surprised if they do(especially randolph) and i think the jazz will win their division (but then again i thought that they would of won it last year)

That's all I'm saying.

<div class="quote_poster">Kidd Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">I just don't see the point of making the list this early.</div> Why not? It's a weekly player ranking, just like they do the power rankings. And as of now, these are the best players in the league in terms of of the stats/wins they have produced so far. It's not like the first games of the regular season don't count.
It's an MVP ranking and that's actually pretty different from regular rankings. I just don't see the point of judging MVP candidates at this time. Of course it's not a big deal or anything. I might be wrong but I find that there is a difference between regular player rankings, and MVP rankings.
