I called Bosh having a huge game! LOL 29points, 14boards and 2 blocks is crazy, not to mention his clutch 3 pointer.
I was at the game tonight, and even though it was those suite seats (paid for by my Dad's office), here are some personal opinions and notes of mine based on what I saw (this was actually my first time attending the ACC for a Raps game). - I just checked out Bosh's point total and 29 seems wierd because I really don't remember him scoring all that much aside from the UNBELIEVABLE 3 pointer and that timely 3 point play, as well as some shots here and there. I wasn't counting every single bucket he scored, so yeah. - Allen Iverson is unbelieveably quick, and alot of people were cheering on his moves and shots everytime he scored. This lady next to me who probably didn't know sh*t about basketball was cheering him on as well. Also, Kyle Korver is great. I remember right after half time he was like the first guy out of the locker room and he kept practicing a post-up and turnaround jumpshot on the right side (from where I was sitting), and sure enough, he tried to execute them down the course of the 2nd half. Of course, he wasn't successful at it mind you (the Raptors kept doubling him), but it was that exact same spot every single time he called for the ball. Also, he knocked down like 10-12 three pointers straight right before halftime ended. - Andrea Bargnani looks extremely confused out there. He even looked confused during shootarounds (not to mention he wasn't really conversing with anyone before, during or after shootarounds). And his screens are really wierd. I only remember him shooting that one shot that rimmed in and out (3 pointer). Kinda expected more from him. - Morris Peterson rushed ALOTTT of shots in the first half, but he played very solidly IMO. Some of his shots were annoying though. I don't like this whole "shoot within 10 seconds" or whatever it is Sam has implented because 90% of the time, the shots are HORRRRRRRRRRIBLE. - By far the Raptor who impressed me the most was Anthony Parker. Iverson's numbers are awesome (I'll get to him in a second), but Parker (when he was guarding him), did a beyond solid job on him. Especially in the first half, AI was struggling quite a bit. Parker's fundamentals are very good and he plays great defense. His prescence on the floor is not somehting that screams out for attention but subetly he gets the job done and done well. - Joey Graham was impressive but I remember in the first quarter everytime he touched the ball I would scream "PASS THE FRICKIN BALL"...because I do not trust him shooting with that basketball and I won't unless he does this consistently. That dunk he missed over Dalembert would have been dirty though. - Bosh blocking Iverson on the opening posession was sick. - Dalembert is a beast. - Jose Calederon is great. - Fred Jones finished strong in the 2nd half, didn't notice him much in the first. - The Raptors have some hot cheerleaders. - Chris Bosh had two 3 pointers in today's game. - T.J Ford wins this year's award for the most annoying Raptor. Last year it was Mike James, this year it's TJ Ford. I honestly have to say that he hesitated on ATLEAST 5 wide open jumpshots that were available to him and allowed the defense to collapse on them. In each of those hesitations, the ACC groaned collectively because it would have been perfect if he just SHOT THEM rather then pausing for 3 seconds and NOT shooting them. He even hesistated on a MID RANGE shot at one point, which was really frustrating. at someone putting TJ Ford on thier "best shooters in the NBA" list on the NBA forum. - A.I is unbelieveable. Also, Iggy posterizing Rasho (small one though) was great. Dalembert (I think) getting an airball was great as well. Great game and had a great time for watching my first NBA game.
I'm so fkin happy at the win. I don't like Sixers at all and Raps are in my top 4 teams. Bosh had a great game and they played great teamgame. I'm gonna download the game (cuz I dont have the NBA TV yet).

Bosh with his 3rd monster game in a row. he's clearly the best pf in the east now...i think thats established AP didnt have a good game shooting wise, but i really liked his defense. Iverson made shots that Iverson makes...he did everything you need to do to play good D.

Amazing game... I can't tell you guys how ecstatic I was when Bosh hit that 3 pointer. I fell out of my chair screaming it was so good! Impressed by Joey Graham and loved the way he attacked the basket on the Dalembert play. I really hope he finds a way to consistenly attack the basket not get a charge. I feel if Graham's shot stays consistent, they will have to get right up on him so he can blow by his defender. Now it's for that post up game by him... Bosh is god. Calderon played a solid game, TJ missed too many moderate layups, am still not sold on TJ deserving that hefty contract. I was screaming at t.v telling him to shoot when he had open shots, even from the elbow he wouldn't shoot. The coaching staff really needs to emphasize workouts with his shooting. Bargnani, not too much burn, wasn't noticable when he played, as well as Jorge. Humphries I was mad impressed by, and I know he will be starting soon. He is a complete workhouse and banger, much more mobile than Rasho too. That guy is a keeper. Not sure why MoPete didn't play much, he forced alot of bad shots though. Parker impressed me the most in this game with his calm and collected behaviour, his slick moves and his DEFENSE. Even though A.I had a monster game, it was usual. Parker had a hand in Iverson's face every time, and stayed with him even on the drive. Parker is our best perimeter defender. All in all, quite impressed by this performance but I know we're capable of much better. Can't wait for the next game.
