How impressive does he look? I'm glad we didn't trade him and his vision is spectacular. He was making some incredible passes and scored when he had to tonight. He and Posey are going to be sharing a lot of time this year.
He's definately played well for the Heat in the minutes he's getting. He's been a nice all-round player.

The arena's upper region has been renamed Uptown, its inhabitants given specialized attention. The floor seating has been expanded, at the expense of a few scraggly media members. The walls outside the souvenir store are decorated with stylized portraits of the returning champion-ship players. You do what you can for novelty, when there's so little on the court. That's where Dorell Wright comes in. That's why the energy spiked in the building when Wright came in Tuesday with 1:25 left in the first quarter. That's why it was so refreshing that Pat Riley, rewarding Wright's boundless energy, left him in until halftime. That's why Wright needs to keep playing, even when the Heat returns to better health. "I've been waiting two years for this," Wright said.</div> Source
He's a stud. NBA TV showed the Heat-Sonics game yesterday. He was pretty impressive when he was on the court. He's got excellent court sense and plays good defense. If he improves his shooting, he may well be a candidate for Most Improved Player. He needs to get more of Walker and Posey's minutes for sure.
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">If he improves his shooting, he may well be a candidate for Most Improved Player.</div> He's actually supposed to have a pretty good shooting stroke. I don't know about his outside shot yet, but I remember his mid-range jumper being quite money. I think MIP for him is more related to if he can get minutes for the rest of the season. Without that though, what he gives Miami is more depth, and even a backup PG at 6'9 that can guard the 1-3.
Walker's better than you guys give him credit for. He creates a lot on offense and would get 4apg if guys would hit their shots or convert their layups. He also tries to play defense which is acceptable. He sucks in a half court offense cuz he takes on the spot up shooters' role and lets Wade & Shaq create. Lord knows Wade and Shaq ain't gonna be doing no spot up shooting any time soon. BTW, 3 of Dorell's 6 dimes in the Sonics game came from Walker. Antoine's instincts of knowing how to place himself in position to score played a big role in slicing through the Sonics defense. Every time Dorell attacked Antoine was cutting to the basket. He would run to the basket and D-Wright found him for the easy layup 2 times. The 3rd dime came of a botched fast break lob pass which Wright saved to Walker before going outta bounds and Antoine was able to finish it. It's little things like that that go unnoticed and which is why Riley likes what Antoine brings to the table.
Wrights finally been given the opportunity to play and hes taking advantage of it. Hes been spectacular so far, hopefully he can keep playing like this throughout the season.
