<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- Point guard Chauncey Billups passed up an open three pointer in the Pistons' loss to Utah on Monday night, a strange sight for the ultra-confident shooter. It wasn't a matter of confidence, he said, but that he fumbled the ball and couldn't get his feet set. Instead, he dished to Richard Hamilton in the corner. No biggie. But there is the little matter of Billups' shooting this season, especially behind the three-point line. "Two-for-17?" coach Flip Saunders said Tuesday, rattling off the stat as if he memorized it on the bus ride to Arco Arena. That's the one. Billups isn't worried, but he would like to end the slump. He took some extra shooting after an afternoon practice in Sacramento. "I'm getting good looks, too," he said. "That's what's frustrating. But usually you go through that like three or four times a season where there will be a little stretch of games where I can't get it going."</div> Source
Nothing to worry about, everyone goes through periods like this. I mean Kyle Korver (who is considered one of the leagues top 3 point shooters) for example will have games where he goes like 2/11, 3/9, 1/6 etc. then he'll bounce back and knock down the likes of 5/6, 4/7, 2/2 etc. It's all about finding his rhythem.
