WHO: VS. WHEN: Friday, November 10, 2006; 7:00 WHERE: Conseco Fieldhouse; Indianapolis, IN TV: RADIO: STARTING LINEUPS: PG: SG: SF: PF: C: COACHES: RECORDS:Magic (3-2), Pacers (3-2) PREDICTION: Magic: 99, Pacers 95 MY TAKE: I thin that this will be Dwight Howard's coming out party for the season. Frustration has build up for him and unless the Pacers can find a way to contain him without doubling him, he will have a monster game. If the Pacers choose to double him, Hedo, and company will have to hit the open jumper to keep the Pacers defense on their heals all night. KEY MATCHUP: Dwight needs to have a huge game for the Magic to win. He has started off in a slump and needs to pick it up, quickly. Jermaine O'Neal is nursing an ankle injury, so anything above 14/9 out of him is excellent production for the pacers, and gives them a great shot to win this game.
Another nice preview D-money12. JO isn't playing? Without JO, we should pound it down to Dwight all game long, but the last 2 games against weak front courts we only gave Dwight 11 total shots. It should be an interesting game. The key matchup is Grant Hill vs. Stephen Jackson. We have to contain Jackson and we have to hold on to the ball and hit FT's if we want to have a chance to win.
Jamal Tinsley looks like he has A.D.D. and can't pay attention long enough to take a picture. Then you have Al Harrington with his goofy looking Chad Johnson mohawk. Just a few observations. Nice preview d-money, you've been really consistent with those and it's really appreciated. Now onto the game. I think the Magic will take this one especially since Jermaine isn't playing. We have a lot of confidence right now after beating two decent teams in a row. We need to stay focused and put together a nice string of wins. I think Dwight Howard will finally break out of his slump and have a good game. I’m predicting 18 points and 13 rebounds for him. My prediction, Magic win 104-99.
of course we need to limit turnovers...control our tempo and make sure we take control of the game...if stick to the basics we can win... we need to limit the other teams offensive boards..this will be a very interesting game to watch..after coming off a buzz beater win when we almost let the sonics get us while we should had them packing there bags after the first quarter..this game will show the magic's true colors.
sorry guys, just got word that JO will be playing tomorrow, but on a bad ankle, so i dont know how effective he will be but he wont be 100%...and thanks for the rec guys...i try to do my best, and if i dont do them sometimes, its cuz i have school/work

Yeah, look, we're gonna need a big game from Dwight every single time we play. We need to limit turnovers every time we play. If we're gonna actually have a real pre-game analysis, there needs to be ANALYSIS. I'm sorry, but it needed to be said so this trend doesn't continue

Harrington owned us. Dwight looked to have a good game, despite 8 turnovers. 17 and 14 with 3 blocks is solid. Darko also had 3 blocks. I didn't watch the game, but was Dwight matched up on Harrington the majority of the game?
Sorry, what I said was too mean. I tend to get hyperbolic and condescending when unnecessary. I was taking out my frustration of the loss on my fellow fans, I 'spose.
After a big start, Dwight has really been struggling. He's averaging 5.0 TPG right now, and scoring less than he was last season. Yea he's taking less shots, but he better be when he's turning the ball over on 2.3 more posessions than he was last season. That's a little troubling, but he should get used to it, a lot of post players when they're moving to possibly being a first option have a turnover problem, just not usually this extreme. He had a good game today, but the 8 turnovers is quite disturbing.
The turnovers killed us again, what a surprise. At this point they cant blame the ball, turning the ball over that many times, we are lucky to be .500. Stupid passes and going to the basketball and flopping are just careless mistakes that they must correct if they hope to compete for the playoffs. We played well last night when we were moving without the ball and getting to the rim, once they started coming back everyone stood still and we were running our offense with 8 seconds left in the shot clock. I hope they can pick it up cuz we havent played the best teams yet and we are looking bad. We lost to Philly, Hawks, and now Pacers...
