MSG has announced that it has joined the ownership group of Aviator Sports and Recreation, LLC, a sports facility based in the Borough of Brooklyn.

Aviator is a 170,000 square foot mega-sports complex that houses two NHL regulation-size indoor ice rinks, an indoor field house and other amenities. The facility is scheduled to open this fall.

"Madison Square Garden may reside in Manhattan - but we have always appreciated the tremendous percentage of our fanbase lives in Brooklyn and Queens," said Steve Mills, president and COO of MSG Sports. </div>
