"It does affect us," Isiah Thomas said last night before the Knicks beat the Nuggets, 109-107. "But we have to be strong enough to concentrate and get through that and one day we will have a home-court advantage."

"To say that (the crowd's surliness) doesn't affect any of our guys at home, that would not be true," Thomas added.

"Certain guys, who are arguably top-10 talents in this league are shaken right now and it's just going to take a little bit of time for them to get that confidence back," said Malik Rose.</div>

Just another case of Isiah the coach shifting the blame away from Isiah the GM and onto his own players.

That's the funniest part of the whole article to me. Who are these 'top-10 talents'? Maybe Renaldo Balkman is better than we all thought.

In all seriousness though, these guys are professional basketball players. They shouldn't be affected by the crowd. They've got to be stronger mentally than that.

Isiah should hire a team sports psychologist before admitting to the press that his team is that weak. If anybody needs one, it's the Knicks.

    LOL @ that!

Shoot maybe he thinks Starbury or the Franchise are top 10 talents as of this time period. It sucks to get booed, but they have to learn to block it out, I guess. It probably doesn't affect them in-game as much as it does thinking about the next home stretch. It's like looking forward to a bad game everytime because everyone in the Knicks organization is so unpopular.

It's simple logic, really: when you play with no effort, you get booed.
