this game was detroit from the beggining imo... i really cant figure out whats going thru odom's and phil's heads... i thought kwame was going to play today!
I didn't see the game, but wtf happened? What's up with Kobe scoring low (VC said in another thread that he only had 2 points entering the 4th quarter)? Why did Odom get ejected? How can they get blown out by Detriot on thier own floor?

I don't see ANY ball movement like how they played at the beginning of the season when Kobe was out. LO was a non factor in this game and he supposed to make an impact early the game, knowing that Kobe is still not 100%. But yet he failed again. LO is very inconsistent. The only guy show up is Luke Walton, although he also fail to convert easy basket for multiple times.
Lakers were PATHETIC this game. Not much ball movement and everyone else is not cutting. Looks like the same old lakers from last year.
Last night the first 5 minutes of the game looked promising. Every offensive possession the Lakers went to the rim and Sheed picked up two quick fouls. However, once Sheed went to the bench the Lakers stopped going to the rim and started shooting jumpshots. The Pistons held us to one and done every time we missed, and the Lakers defense couldn't get any defensive stops on the other end or force enough turnovers to beat Detroit. When our team shoots more 3 pointers than free throws we're going to lose every time.

They need to run plays for him in the post and let himg get high percentage shots. The same can be said for Kobe, he has way too many turnovers. It is still early, but I would like to see both of these guys in the post more often. That and the team needs to take care of the ball, learn how to read the zone, and rebound! I think Bynum is still too inconsistant to start, He still is having trouble holding good posistion in the paint long enough for an entry pass.<font face=""Comic Sans MS""></font>
what does everyone think of the idea of having Kobe initiate the offense for the Lakers like the Pheonix series?
wow. We got totally man handled by Detroit and Golden State just tore them up today when I watched the game.
