Huge comeback win by the Bulls tonight after being down by double digits early the Bulls won 89-80. Ben Gordon struggled yet again, but both Deng and Hinrich had huge games. Ben Wallace 18 rebounds!
man Gordon has been really hot and cold. Deng has played awesome so far this season. Hinrich at his usual self.
Yer i got to watch the 2nd half of this game, it was great. Gordon was in foul trouble so yer. I'm thinking why don't we just make Gordon come off the bench again? Hes too random atm. One negative side, we needed Wallace to play the WHOLE game.
Go Bulls!! Ben Gordon has the potential to be a good player..he'd be an awesome player if he'd work on mastering his jumpshot.

TVU wasn't working for me. Only came up with a black screen.
I caught the last 2 minutes on NBA TV, lmao at Darrell Armstrong getting ejected, thought he was playing for the Bears.

Quality was horrible though, low bandwidth and it kept freezing every couple of mins. I missed a lot of key plays. And LOL at Darrell Armstrongs tackle, it was pretty vicious. What surprised me was the fact that he complained to the refs. Then he got ejected. He had no case at all, it was a flagrant all the way. Also to add to my previous comment on bringing Gordon off the bench, after the game Skiles hinted at doing so. I saw it in this article. http://chicagosports.chicagotribune.com/sp...bulls-headlines
definetly agree on Gordon coming off the bench. I think that last year Skiles had alot of pressure from the fans (which led to the office) to let Gordon start. I think he'd be much better off the bench. Not criticizing our leading scorer of last year or anything but to let him play at a bench role and then to move him to a starter would work out like it did his rookie year, assuming that he becomes more productive as a bench player. Realisticly, if you look at the numbers Noc should be a starter and he's not, why should Gordon start with the **** he's putting up?
If Gordon comes off the bench, it'll likely be Duhon that gets the nod to start again. He allows Hinrich to switch over to SG, which he's pretty comfortable at playing.
sorry didn't mean to imply that Noc should start I meant that he would normally start on any other team with his numbers
I'm not sure Duhon would be the one to get in the starting 5 if Gordon goes to the bench. Skiles said yesterday that he's still trying to get Adrian Griffin into it because he 'trusts Griff when he plays'. Knowing that Griff already filled that role of starting SG with a primarily defensive assignment in Dallas last year, and knowing how Skiles likes to play (he's been known to want more size in the back court, for all the reasons that everybody here already knows), i think Skiles will go with Griff if he decides to make a change and play Gordon off the bench. Personally, i would do it like this. And also start Noce at PF and Brown off the bench. I know Skiles likes Noce as a 6th man for his energy and points, but with Gordon already in the sparkplug role, there is less need for it i think.
I don't think benching Gordon is the answer. He typically gets off to slow starts each season due to his intense off season weight lifting programs. Now you compile the strength change due to lifting, and the adjustment he is making to the new NBA basketball, and of course he is going to struggle somewhat. I think we need to let him play through his slump.
<div class="quote_poster">I-Miss-MJ Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">I don't think we can afford to let him play through and cost us games.</div> Well he's had two bad games and we are 1-1 so it really isn't hurting us that much the game before that he had 37 points and 9 assists. Also would you rather him work through it now or still be struggling with it when we need him the most (the second half of the year/playoffs)?
Personally, I think BG should remain the starter. When he's in the lineup, we automatically have a scoring threat to start the game. With him coming off the bench, while it may take some relief off the starters to score, it also puts pressure on them to keep them in the game before he comes in. I think we let him work through the kinks now, that way he doesn't have issues come later in the season when games matter the most. On the note of Noc starting over Brown, no way. I love Noc, but I think we need his intensity off the bench. Wel also lose a lot of size by doing that, and we also lose some solid post defense.
