Hahah Kobe made Warrick fall when he split the 2 defenders and made the left hand floater to beat the buzzer. Did anyone else see that?

Yeah it was quick crossover, but the floater he hit was equally impressive. Nice way to end a quarter.

The Lakers defense finally showed up tonight, but we still have a lot of issues to clean up.

My main concern is how easy the Lakers give up leads. They keep allowing teams to comeback after taking 19 or 20 point leads. The team has to learn how to put the foot on the throat and just demoralize the team from getting any confidence after we go up by over 15 points. Like John Salley said, the Detroit Piston Bad Boys would play at full effort for 3 quarters, so by the time the 4th quarter comes the other team already quit and you can rest.

Our amount of turnovers continues to be a problem. We had 18 turnovers again tonight, and its not improving dispite PJax making it a key priority. The main culprit is Kobe with 5 again last night. He's over passing the ball at times, and gets caught in the air not knowing whether to shoot or pass.

I thought Smush was terrible again last night. He shot 4-13 from the field and 1-5 from behind the arc. He missed three straight times from behind the arc, and shoots too early in the offense. His 6 assists were positive with only 1 turnover, but he's so reluctant to take it in and draw contact because he can't make free throws. Smush has to be more efficient at scoring. 35.3% from the field, 50% from the free throw line, and 32.3% from 3pt line is unexceptable.

We get 4 days off to prepare for an important home stretch, starting with the Raptors. After them it gets brutal with these teams coming up...

    Chicago, Clippers, Jazz, Nets

If the Lakers don't improve, we could drop all 4 of those games, and really put ourselves behind the 8 ball for a playoff spot. The Lakers have to win at least 3 of these next 5 games.

Yeah I aggreed with the announcer last night that the main problem the Lakers have right now are the distractions at PG. Smush is either playing like crap cause he's affraid of Farmar or he's simply unmotivated. Regardless his pedestrian play can cause us some problems.
