But with the memory of a loss to Greece comes change. In an interview with the Denver Post, Colangelo has let it be known he has the flexibility to add players and cites Jason Kidd as one who has expressed a desire to play both in the Americas tournament this summer and in the Olympics in 2008.</div>

Like I said before, with Kidd getting older I don't think it would be the wise thing for him to play over the summer instead of resting.

I agree. As much as I want to see Jason Kidd help the U.S. team, it would be better for him to take the much needed time off. I think a lot of Kidd's decision will depend on how the Nets will do this season. Another early exit for the Nets might push Kidd to join the Olympic team. Jason Kidd wants to win. If he doesn't get it with the Nets, he'll try to get it elsewhere. Kidd, I feel, will push himself to the limit this season. He wants a ring bad. And I know he wants to win it in New Jersey. I hope Jason Kidd gets his ring. He deserves it. He was already robbed of an MVP once, hopefully he'll get his due.
