Marbury, Francis, and Larry Hughes are WAY overpaid. Talk about not getting a return on the investment...
LeBron only 5 mill, and Wade about 4 mill, and they do WAY more then Webber, Francis and LaFrentz. Well, I guess As long as you win, who cares about the money.
Those two are also still on their rookie contracts. Wait til next season when they're new deals kick in.
Lebron & Wade yeah...theyll be makin @ least $15M per on their next contracts. ________________________________ www.strictlyballinblog.com check it out!
Talk about Michael Finley and Chris Webber getting overpaid. Both players are good but really are getting overpaid they don't even play that much. Dwade and Lebron are getiing paid less but play more.
Ya see this is what happens when you have the best union in pro sports. Reason why everyone seems overpaid is because most of those guys really were worth that much (in terms of NBA market value) at the time, but due to the length of the contract their time as simply passed by of being worth that much. It's all about guaranteed contracts. Why re-sign with your team for 3 years and less money when a team is going to give you 5-6 years with significant pay raises? You're prime can pass you by and you can get waived and still bask in the glory of getting 8 mil a year. Then again that's not the case with everyone. With some plays (Raef was mentioned earlier) you just kind of have to scratch your head and say I wish I was a semi-cordinated 7 footer.
