I thought that the reason kobe is wearing a wristband this season instead of the usual armband is that stern made this rule that forbids it... But why are eddie jones and mike miller wearing armbands (in between the shoulder and elbow) in the lal vs mem game?

Good question, I didn't even notice that.

I wonder what the answer is, I HATE the wristband on Kobe, makes him look so old.

Maybe Garnett, Jones, and Miller are paying fines just to wear it?

Also, is it a sure thing that Stern passed this rule or was it just being discussed?

Lifestyle of the Rich and Famous. I'd die if they charged me 5 bucks for my armband being too high! LOL

I really think the NBA has gone too far with all these new rule changes. The dress code, I was fine with. But since when were they given the authority to tell players where they can wear their armbands? That's just ridiculous. Couple that with the new system of giving out technicals, and those are probably the two worst things they've done in a while.
