Kevin Martin has been an absolute stud this year. He was my pick for breakout player of the year and he certainly has not disappointed. He keeps this up, the media might as well write him in as a sure-fire MIP for the season.
I guess Bonzi not signing the 36 mil was a blessing. Theres no way Bonzi can average 23ppg like Kevin is doing right now. He should win MIP. But I do hope he has a shooting slump tomorrow! Go Warriors!
I thought you guys were joking, but he's averaging 24 points while shooting 54% from the field and 40% from downtown.

I picked him up in my fantasy leagues expecting like 15 PPG, 48% FG. 38% 3PT, and like 1.3 SPG, and he's pleasantly surprised me.
Had him averaging around 17-18 PPG this year, but he just took a big leap this year. Glad I have him in all of my fantasy leagues, including the JBB one
No Bibby,No Artest, No Miller...no problem! We got Kevin Martin playing for the Kings. He torched Seattle for 35 tonight
He tore ish' the f*** up today aswell, dropping 35 Points, 4 Rebounds, 3 Assists on the Sonics. The M.I.P trophy is all but his at this stage. He really came out of nowhere, I never would've expected him to perform anything like this.
He started showing what he could do last season when Bonzi was injured and he was gettin an increased role and more minutes. He was also ballin against the spurs in the playoffs. This does not surprise me at all.

KMart was showing he could score, yea, he'd have 20 points here and there, and 15 points here and there, but to say you expected him to become a 25 PPG scorer on 55% FG amd 49% 3PT would be A HUGE lie. I expected him to be better, and that was like 16-17 PPG on the season, no one can honestly say: 24.9 PPG | 54.6% FG | 49.0% 3PT from KMart is not surprising
What happened last night? Just a bad game (he's entitled to have a few.) The few times I've watched him last year (playoffs) and this year against Warriors, he's so smooth; I'm very impressed.
