The way his knee bent back it could have been a lot worse if Shaq's momentum was going forward. C.Hayes put a body in front of Shaq early in the Heat game that looked like he was lucky not to get landed on. Good to hear they didn't find any other damage.
Dang. Lets hope Tmac makes up for the scoring done by Hayes. For the rebounding and defense, man.... we're gonna miss him.
the messed up thing was Shaq didn't even get called for a foul on the play....hopefully Chuck makes a speedy recovery because his rebounding, defense, hussle, and finishing around the basket has been vital to our success thus far.

O'Neal's status is day-to-day, the Heat said. He was hurt in a collision Sunday with Houston's Chuck Hayes, who is expected to miss up to two weeks with a bruised and hyperextended left knee. O'Neal missed the third and fourth games of the season with a bruised knee. He has averaged 14.0 points and 7.5 rebounds in four games. Alonzo Mourning replaced O'Neal in the starting lineup against Denver. The Heat decided to delay activating guard Jason Williams for at least one more game. He has yet to play since undergoing arthroscopic knee surgery July 21. "A couple of more practices, and I think I'll be ready," Williams said.</div> Apparently, Shaq got injured on that same play.
Did u guys see the news saying O'neal is actually gonna be out for 4~6 weeks because of Hayes? I can picture the impluse of that collision. Hayes has quite a strong lower body I would say. Hah..Our team has somebody who can send O'neal into hospital. LOL

I hate it when you get hit on your thighs by someone's knees. It hurts like .... But the person hitting with the knees shouldn't get hurt as bad as the person getting hit on the thigh unless you have some weakk knees. Shaq should be healed in a week or so, why 4-6 weeks?
But usually the person that hits the person with knees doesnt get hurt but I guess Shaq is getting old.
