Thanks for asking, though! This will be a fun game, I think. Golden State Pts 102.0 Rebs 37.7 Assists 22.4 Opponents Pts 100.1 Rebs 45.7 Assists 22.4 Toronto Pts 99.2 Rebs 40.2 Assists 20.8 Opponents Pts 103.2 Rebs 46.2 Assists 21.8 from yahoo.com Hopefully we play defense again. I'm a little worried about the TJ Ford/Chris Bosh Matchup because they can outquick or outmaneuver any of our perimeter or post defenders. But if we go small and athletic as well we should be able to contain their perimeter. I hope Biedrins can contain or slow down Bosh. I mean they don't really have too many shooters on that Toronto team to help the big man inside. They've got MoPete and who else? A journeyman shooting guard who played in Israel the last few years? Not sure if Fred Jones or Joey Graham are going to be lights out and TJ Ford/Juan Calderon can be a pretty limited shooter like Speedy Claxton was for us a few years ago. Plus, whoever they throw at point I bet we can post up or shoot over TJ Ford/Calderon. We own that point guard matchup. For shooting guard just play Ellis next to Baron again and we got two dribble penetrating, shooting, passing threats who can steal the ball, push the break, and rebound. Richardson at the 3 could matchup well with MoPete. Put Biedrins at the 4 and Murphy at the 5 against Nesterovic.
TJ Ford won't be a problem for the Warriors defensively. The guy just plain sucks at shooting and Monta will be guarding him, so expect a shut down from TJ offensively. I really like how Nellie is using Monta to guard the PG's which relieves Baron from that task.
I think we destroyed the Raptors last year. I doubt this year will be any different. Yes, Chris Bosh dominated, but he was the only one and he left with foul trouble...
Warriors off to a good start in the first defensively. Toronto with 6 turnovers already with 6:30 still to play. Lets make it another blow out!
What's wrong with Murph? And when is Ike coming back? They keep saying day to day but it's been like a week and I'm getting concerned it's more serious that initially thought.
Toronto just can't shoot. Damn. Only Mo Pete seems to be the only legit threat from midrange and out. Warriors are looking okay, good hustle plays and all, but we got Foyle in the game... uggg... This sucks how Ellis and Biedrins already picking up their 3rd fouls... Ouch. They ain't ready to be starters yet if they can't control the stupid fouls. I mean we need those two guys. We're just so thin...
damnit, I turn my head for one moment and Foyle actually catches something and makes it. and again when Dunleavy actually does something inside the paint. but I definitely saw Dunleavy miss that free throw. Damn you! Pure shooter my ass!
31-23 Warriors right now, but I predict if the Warrior's win this one it's going to be a come from behind win. Not completely liking the vibe of this game so far.
They should ban Dunleavy from taking threes in transition. It seems like everytime he does it, he misses badly, and we get beaten back with the other team running with numbers. Anyone else feel that way? Plus, it doesn't help our best inside/dribble penetrating players (and particularly defensive players) are on the bench with foul troubles. All the team can do is chuck threes because there's no inside presence. Foyle, Dunleavy at center just won't cut it. The quick threes or lack of offense coming from guys like Foyle or Barnes just kills us. It's like playing 3 on 5. Plus, nobody besides Baron can dribble penetrate and Dunleavy just can't rebound like Murphy or Biedrins can at center or power forward.
Dunleavy with 12 points on 5 of 7 shooting. If only the guy was consistent. We just need to make it to the 2nd half so we can have ellis and biedrins back in the game.
The other coach is exploiting our weakest parts on our defense, but there is nothing we can do with important guys in foul trouble or injured. We just have to keep things close. I mean they're running the ball at the middle and we only have two choices: drive and kickout or pass and cut. How come we didn't activate POB? Also Baron must be dead tired by now. He might get injured this game if he plays any longer.

The scoretracking is probably all tied to one computer that everyone reads off of.
