Damn injuries...*starts cussing* Andrei annd Giricek will miss atleast the next three games... <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Jazz basketball boss Kevin O'Connor said Monday that both forward Andrei Kirilenko and shooting guard Gordan Giricek may miss at least the next three games, but he doesn't know how many more beyond that. Coach Jerry Sloan said Monday he wasn't positive who'll start in Kirilenko's small forward spot when the 6-1 Jazz host the 5-1 Los Angeles Clippers tonight. "We're very disappointed Andrei's not going to be able to be with us," Sloan said Monday, "but life goes on." It does but with many more questions than when the Jazz jumped to one of the NBA's best starts. Uncertainty, it seems, now hovers over a team that not long ago was shaping up as a sure thing.</div> http://www.deseretnews.com/dn/view/0,1249,650207036,00.html
Funny how when I first visited this forum I saw Jazz fans bashing on Boozer. But now he's one of the main reasons they're doing so great right now. Jazz are sizzlin right now.
They are now also #1 in the NBA.com Power Rankings. http://www.nba.com/powerrankings/ <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">1 - Utah(3) 7-1 The always fragile Kirilenko is sidelined again, but not even that was enough to keep the Jazz from setting a franchise-best start.</div>

Number 1 on ESPN <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">One week into the season, one of our most trusted contacts from the Weekend Dime's web of front-office executives, coaches and scouts labeled this "the most athletic team they've ever had in Utah." Two weeks later, it's time for a new superlative to describe the Utah Jazz. In one of the easiest decisions ever for the committee (of one), thanks to Utah's 9-1 launch, Jerry Sloan's kids have claimed the No. 1 spot in the latest edition of ESPN.com's NBA Power Rankings, rising above mighty San Antonio and a thicket of slow-starting contenders that seem to have adopted the Miami's laissez-faire approach to the regular season. 1 - How do we know Jazz are reborn? They just posted a 3-0 week without an injured AK-47 and Sloan is handing big roles to kids like Miles, Brewer and Millsap.</div> Rankings
