There's a simple answer to that. He's not marketed well. I bet if he had shoe deals, was on video game covers, and had his face plastered everywhere like Kobe or Lebron he'd start getting all-star ballots. I think a few years ago Doc even had to start calling around to coaches for favors to vote Pierce in. And they were saying "He's already in." He shouldn't have to call anyone in the first place.
